On average US citizens aren't unhappy enough to care since material needs are met and pharmaceutical technology is effective at dealing with mental illness. Based on current trends, blacks may simply be absorbed by the white population or at the very least become whiter than the current 25% on average which would improve stability as the population becomes more homogenous.

Then why is the suicide rate increasing? There are many reasons to be skeptical of the efficacy of anti-depressants.

How would race-mixing improve stability? In bi-racial and tri-racial countries, racial stratification and racial hierarchies (Haiti, Brazil) are still a source of problems.

It's not just anti-depressants. Doctors prescribe benzodiazepines to patients like candy.

Homogeneous societies are typically more stable than multicultural ones.
