Hasn't Mexico been getting white and whiter due to the browner ones coming here?

Certainly possible.

People who move are often the losers, people with good lives tend to stay where they are. I have worked with people in South America and Mexico who work in engineering and do really good work and are just as qualified as people in the west. Far more than 28% of them have light eyes. The people who had to go to the US to pick tomatoes are probably not very white.

I imagine the European Mexicans aren't the ones fleeing to pick tomatoes for $3/hr in the sun. They probably live like kings with maids, gardeners, etc. Typical 3rd World bimodal society. (I'm guesstimating).

With a few very rare exceptions, the ones with blonde hair are all bottle blondes, and even then I doubt the number is that high. Have you ever been to Mexico? There's no chance that's accurate.

I read only 2% of the global population have natural blonde hair these days, which seems a tad lower than I thought but probably not by much.

Anecdotes don't convince me.

They are about half Spanish, mostly from male parentage. So I'm not overly shocked.

We analyzed 18 Y-SNPs in 659 individuals from 10 Mexican-Mestizo populations from different regions of the country. In the total population sample, paternal ancestry was predominately European (64.9%), followed by Native American (30.8%) and African (4.2%). However, the European ancestry was prevalent in the north and west (66.7–95%) and, conversely, Native American ancestry increased in the center and southeast (37–50%), whereas the African ancestry was low and relatively homogeneous (0–8.8%).

The predominant maternal ancestry was Native American (92.9%), including Haplogroups A, B, C, and D (47, 23.7, 15.9, and 6.2%, respectively). Conversely, European and African ancestries were less frequent (5.3 and 1.9%

That seems a bit high but around what I'd expect from the same survey in Spain.

Funny part is for all the claims of racism the Mexican elites level against America their ruling class is a thousand times Whiter than the US. They're all blonde or brown haired, light eyed Castillians.

Where do you see those figures again? Because looking at table one, 1% of Mexican men and 2% Mexican women are blonde. Blue/grey eye color have both gender at 1%.

Dark blonde is included as well, and light eyes are broadly defined.
