It just doesn't feel right that a regime founded on strength, honor, and tradition would devolve into such barbaric racism and deviant neurosis

What about Imperial Japan, which had a different culture, but based on those same principles? What do you think about the official account of their brutality and genocidal tendencies during WW2?

There is zero physical evidence that Unit 731 ever existed.

Japan was absolutely brutal in WW2

    Here's a lead-up of their imperialism

One thing to remember regarding Japan and World War 2 is the response of the US to war reparations

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_San_Francisco#Allied_territories_occupied_by_Japan

It is recognized that Japan should pay reparations to the Allied Powers for the damage and suffering caused by it during the war. Nevertheless it is also recognized that the resources of Japan are not presently sufficient, if it is to maintain a viable economy, to make complete reparation for all such damage and suffering and at the same time meet its other obligations.

    Compensation to Allied POWs

Clause 16 of the San Francisco Treaty stated that Japan would transfer its assets and those of its citizens in countries which were at war with any of the Allied Powers or which were neutral, or equivalents, to the Red Cross, which would sell them and distribute the funds to former prisoners of war and their families. Accordingly, the Japanese government and private citizens paid out £4,500,000 to the Red Cross.[citation needed]

According to historian Linda Goetz Holmes, many funds used by the government of Japan were not Japanese funds but relief funds contributed by the governments of the US, the UK and the Netherlands and sequestred in the Yokohama Specie Bank during the final year of the war.[185]

Much different treatment than Germany despite Japan looting almost all of Southeast Asia. Pretty sure Germany is still paying for what it allegedly did.

Japan built hidden vaults Japan throughout Asia to hide their plunder for later recovery. US found out about it and came to a compromise to use the gold to fund the post-WW2 world and fight communism. Also known as Operation Golden Lily.

The book, Gold Warriors details much of the above.
