The reason we're being censored isn't because our ideas are too unspeakably evil to showcase. It's because if people saw us, they'd know we aren't bad people who deserve to be mistreated.

Reminds me of the Voat meme about federal agents lurking on Voat getting turned into Nazis. That's how it works though. Someone who is exposed to truth and reasonable people end up learning something. The rulers have to make sure that doesn't happen. It's on us to make sure to properly build alternative environments to insure free speech.

The mind craves order and knows truth when it receives it. It's just a matter of making that transition as painless as possible, i.e. mitigate the incoming cognitive dissonance.
