I will acknowledge that this one at least went all-in on it and apparently stayed the course. That seems to take from the realm of "I'm doing this because I'm a porn-sick weirdo, obsessed with chasing clout, or otherwise just too stupid to think for myself" and more into "something in my head is seriously fucked up, and this is the only way for me to deal with it besides roping."

Looks like she hasn't been larping as a man that long, a year and a half to two years as far as I can tell. The detransitioners I talk to are often happy for years until the copium runs out and they realize they will never really be their pretend gender. The 8 year mark seems common for some reason.

One day she'll wake up and realize she was once pretty but now she's a bald breastless woman and she did it to herself. It's sad.

7 year itch? Its a relationship with their identity and they get antsy for a divorce?

I wrote a shower thought about Ellen Page and that very topic a few months back.

That was a great post.

Oh man whenever I think about Ellen Page I just think of that photo of her with those weird looking ab implants and I can't stop laughing

Naw, they're completely the result of her dedicated workout regimen. Absolutely.

Elliot Page's workout:

1000 crunches, 1000 sit-ups

end of workout

Done in five minutes, tops.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

And somehow it's not sad that this happened to me?

[–]SMCAB 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

This is all I've ever really expected. Be about it. If you wanna be a cat you're drinking from a saucer and getting sprayed with a water bottle when you touch my countertops. If you want to be a man, at least make me guess if you might really be one. It's all still royally fucked, just be about it.

[–]Dontcaretoday 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I agree. It shows at least a little bit of respect to the people who have to interact with you to make an effort, rather than expect them to call you whatever while doing nothing yourself to try to make it make more sense.

[–]QueenBread 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (22 children)

That's because she's a woman. Women usually try to really look like men because they want the privilege of being a man. Men don't -really- want to look like women because they don't want to lose their privilege.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

It's because the transition process from female to male is that much more effective. It works so well in fact that detrans women are more like trans women.

[–]QueenBread 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (14 children)

I think it's just a brain thing: we see beard, we think male. That's what makes it seem more effective. I could put a fake beard, take a closeup selfie, and I guess I could pass for a big-eyed male. EDIT: yep. Just tried myself with a beard-adding photo filter. I looked like a metal singer from the '90s. Shit, I'm a cute man.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

That's true, but it changes everything. The beard isn't necessary.

[–]QueenBread 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

No, it doesn't really change anything at all visually. All it does is give them a beard. And our brain is tricked because beard = man. They simply add breast-chopping. Try to remove the beard and add boobs to transmen, and you'll discover they're women. Add boobs and remove beard to men, and usually they still look like men.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

Actual trans men get full-blown skeletal rebuilds, which can't be undone even if desired. But most "trans boys" are girls who have snowflake syndrome or internalized misogyny, who never touched a hormone.

[–]QueenBread 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Actual trans men get full-blown skeletal rebuilds

LMFAO!!!!!! Oh dear sometimes I forget many users here are exactly the same as the unhinged TRAs. Yes, yes buddy, sure, that's how the human body works: you take hormones and magically your SKELETON is rebuilt. You never took a single biology class, eh? By the way, if I take a lot of vitamin C, my body starts rewiring as a lemon fruit. It's true.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

It doesn't happen for MtFs, only FtM

[–]QueenBread 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

Ah yes, because biology works entirely differently in that case. Nutcase.

[–]jet199 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Women try to look like men because they know if they try to use men's toilets and changing rooms while looking like women they will get raped. I've had a detrans woman day this to me. The troonette girls all want to be able to go on hormones for years and pass before they socially transition which is why there's a big push from them to change legislation and guidelines that say things like "they must have been living in their chosen gender for 2 years to get treatment/legal docs/etc".

[–]QueenBread 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

And that's what I mean when I say "the privilege of being a man". Just knowing you're not rape fuel is already quite a difference.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You think men don't get raped? Something like 40% of male rapists are gay. And it's practically legal for women to rape men.

[–]jet199 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No one said that.

It seems the word "rape" just triggered your lurid fantasies.

Considering how fucking common chicks using the mens toilets when the female one is busy its bullshit and you are just listening to their mental issues which you will ignore because that mental issue ties into your own flawed world view...

So non-sexists and real transsexuals are not allowed treatment, only uwu pretenders who believe in every sexist stereotype. This makes me so mad.

The photo on the right is the before picture. When she took testosterone it triggered the male pattern baldness that runs in her family.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

That's actually supposed to be a woman?

The shoulder width to head width ratio is off in the photo on the right. Each shoulder is the same width as the head. Women's shoulders are half the width of their heads.

Some women have broad shoulders, especially if they do sport like swimming. Let's avoid falling into the TRAs stereotypes.

    [–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Actually I think most of them have "broad" shoulders. There seems to be this idea that women's hips should be wider than their shoulders, when realistically most don't even have them at equal width.

    [–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Some women have broad shoulders, especially if they do sport like swimming.

Women can have muscular shoulders, but the width doesn't increase.

Let's avoid falling into the TRAs stereotypes.

Adult female gymnasts can have large deltoids, and developed and angular trapezious muscles from neck to shoulder

Regular exercise can never expand the width and span of the bones in a woman's shoulders, but male puberty does. The bone structure defines the shoulder width.

The male bone growth is irreversible.

    [–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Sometimes women can have naturally broad shoulders down to the bones. But in their case the male version would be extra-broad.

    [–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

    Do you have any examples?

    [–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Unfortunately I don't pay close attention to celebrities. I have some irl examples, but I'm not willing to breach their privacy for the sake of this argument.

    [–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You can't think of historical or public examples, but you know some in real life?

    That's not very convincing.

Unlike MtF treatments, FtM treatments are actually somewhat effective.

Every time, every single time, they make these before and after threads, which are essentialy saying: "I went to great deals to try to look like someone who isn't me. Look how cool it is that I managed to disguise myself!". This isn't the own they think it is. This is declaring to the internet they are escaping from themselves. And even if they do manage to LOOK like they're someone else, what does it change? On the inside, they are still the same rotten, mentally unstable individual.

Hormones can be more effective on the inside than they are outside, thank God. It's still nowhere near enough though.

No, it completely transforms their bodies inside and out. It isn't quite the same as if it had been happening since puberty, but it's still a complete makeover. Which is exactly why it's not something to mess around with.

I mean, if you chop off your dick, of course your life is ruined. But hormones don't make your dick fall off, imbecile. Wait, you are a male who calls himself "ghost fox girl w" unironically. What are you doing here? Go take some hormone pills, chop off your penis, and 41% yourself.

    [–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)
