Women aren't allowed to exercise and be healthy. Of course.

You see if we allow women to get ripped then fat women that don't get ripped might feel bad. Can't have that.

Obviously, the only reason women are weaker than men is because patriarchal beauty standards stop them working out. Otherwise they'd all be hench.

That is literally an argument that has been made by feminists in the past - that the differences between men’s and women’s performance in sport, eg 100m sprint time and ability to throw a cricket ball, is socially constructed and if girls were able to play sports the same amount as boys, and encouraged the same way, they could compete with them as equals. Yes, they really did used to make the same arguments as the TRAs now make.

There are still feminists who deny the average differences (physical, psychological and preferences) between the sexes - clinging on for dear life to the tabula rasa theory of the social constructionists.

I actually saw one of the best female powerlifters in the sport complain about stereotypes and "who knows how much of the gap (strength difference between sexes) they could close if only women were encouraged to train like men. I was so confused. She IS training at the elite level, she has multiple powerlifting world records and men the same weight as her have 2x her bench. It's NOT a social construct :D But that says something about the level of brainwashing these social constructionists are able to do.

I love to work out. I love that I can do pull-ups, not many but proper form from a dead hang, and more push-ups than most people I know. I love that I'm kind of ripped. Guess that makes me a man?

Guess that makes me a man?

As a representative of the Patriarchy, I hereby award you an honorary Man Card. It's good for the remainder of the 2023 calendar year, and entitles you to all Male Privilege benefits. Your gift basket--containing a curated selection of personal care items, powertools, porn, and suitably manly snacks and drinks--is being prepared for shipment as you read this.

Furthermore, as part of our special "manly woman" package (new for 2023), you are cleared to sexually claim any soynugget or manlet of your choosing--they automatically waive consent for being Omega-tier--and may freely take them in the so-called "Amazon" position without regard to any wear or tear inflicted on them. Please note, however, that satisfaction from your soynugget or manlet is NOT guaranteed, and you might be required to finish the job yourself.

Thanks but I used to have me one of those Wil Wheaton fans, so I'll pass.

Can I get one of those too? I seem to have misplaced my male privilege.

Sorry, you'll need to go through our Customer Care department for that. The number is 1-800-FUCK-YOU.

Oh, but I'm assuming you mean an honorary Man Card. If you, uh, you're asking about a soynugget or a manlet, I'm afraid that's something you'll have to take care of yourself. Sorry.

I just don't seem to have this white male privilege I'm supposed to. I hear so much about it, sounds nice.

Well, it's embarrassing to admit this, but ever since the 'Rona and the mess that came with it, we've been having some serious supply chain issues with our privilege. And then there's our QA problems with the Chinese manufacturers. We've been trying to source a new privilege manufacturer in Taiwan, but the Chinese definitely aren't happy about that and they're kicking up a fuss over it.

Hello, hello Gym Man, I just learned I'm also a Gym Man. I feel so masculine when I do my leg presses and sidebends 🤤😫

Funnily enough this was actually Harper's logic as to why transwomen should be allowed in women's sports. They wouldn't be training as much to maintain a feminine physique and that would affect their performance. And the IOC actually listened to that shit

“Trust us, we should be able to compete with women because we care more about looks than performance!”

And yet major sports associations believed it. Or more than likely they listened to the threats that the activists would go after their sponsors if they didn't do what they wanted. And if that didn't work, they'd go after the sponsors suppliers. And if that didn't work they'd go after their suppliers/backers

I have difficulty working out because I'm fearful of men in my changerooms.

[–]OuroborosTheory 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

sorta funny how they can't see their own logic: "I can't use the men's bath/locker room since I'm dressed as a girl and a male might harass me," that just lets anyone opposing all this say "uh-HUH, funny about that ..."

[–]ihaveyourdress 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Same old BS.

I know women who think they're gay because they never liked wearing dresses they're Grandma made for them as a child.

Are masculinity and femininity meaningless terms or is a boy who doesn't like sports or a girl who doesn't like dresses really the opposite sex? (Or gender. I don't know anymore.)

Look right, being fit makes you a far right fascist. Just like Hitler. This article actually compares fitness and Hitler. https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/pandemic-fitness-trends-have-gone-extreme-literally-n1292463?cid=sm_npd_ms_tw_ma

But I've learned in this article, that it's ok for me. Muscly guys are bad, scrawny guys are good. But women should keep pumping iron because our politics and our fitness are two separate things. https://www.vice.com/en/article/j5e3z7/gym-bros-more-likely-to-be-right-wing-assholes-science-confirms

[–]meisthebigdumbTransracial BlackX Rockgender Bispecies 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Also it's obvious that women are more attracted to muscly guys. So people are literally psyopped into becoming unattractive lmao

[–]Wanderingthehalls 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Tbh, I don't think most women are attracted to overly muscly guys with very low levels of body fat. Especially if the low level of body fat is giving them a drawn face. And a lot of peds show on the face in a way that's off-putting. A nice face is generally very important to women. Men who are naturally fit and strong from working out or doing a sport and having a good diet are most attractive to most women. And one of the things that I, and a lot of women I talk to, find especially physically attractive is prowess. A man who does something he loves very well is attractive, whether that's combat sports, football, basketball, lifting/bodyweight exercises, dancing, acrobatics, rock-climbing, whatever. Someone who can do something physically difficult with control and contained power is very, very attractive. Bonus points if they are getting joy from it.

And the other things is, one of those articles specifically says men shouldn't work out but women should. Fit women are especially more likely to be attracted to fit guys. When I was less in shape, I genuinely had lower standards about who I was attracted to. But now, I put the work into my own fitness and physical abilities and I'm not really that interested in someone that doesn't do the same. It doesn't have to be the same kind of activity that I do but it has to be something. So the end result of following that supposedly scientific advice, would be a bunch of out of shape guys, who are at best skinny fat, but mostly just fat, fat hoping for the attention of fit women with no interest. Not that most women are going to work out or if they do, eat a good diet. Men are being told the gym will make them alt-right while women have been told to 'love your curves' ie, your fat rolls rather than a natural hourglass. And that we should be body positive and are healthy at any size. That our bodies will go to shit after we have children and we should embrace it and be embraced for it, rather than try to be fit and healthy.

The reason they have difficulty working out is because they haven't been able to see their own feet without a mirror in years.
