Not only that, but even if it could survive, it's kind of a low blow to attack people just showing self-love, even with the Buffalo Bill type nature to some of it. Attack the snarts when their viewpoints show they deserve to be mocked and attacked for it, not for just 'being trans and existing as such'.

There's therapeutic self-love and then there's pathological self-obsession. I'm sorry but advertising to the internet how you're hot shit would fall into the latter category. A bit of ridicule for these people is needed to help maintain healthy expectations and social norms.

I notice very few women are ever happy with how they look, but a hugely disproportionate number of trans women think they're sooo hot.

I tend to feel this way of anyone posting "sexy selfies" on the internet. It seems a very odd behavior and frankly indicates to me the person in question is lacking fulfilment in their life and is using the internet instead as a way to garner positive attention.

Outside of very specific contexts like dating websites. I've known a few people who post shit like this and they're always emotional landmines.
