While I agree with the women that children should not transition, I am under no illusion that they would be OK with gays and lesbians either. As some comments noted, middle class leftists underestimate the social conservatism of those they champion. He genuinely believed that they would come to his aid, and was shaken when he found them FAR more hostile than the man merely standing there with the sandwich board.

I am under no illusion that they would be OK with gays and lesbians either.

I taught college classes for 20 years, starting in the 1990s when people were more open about expressing their beliefs. Some of the most anti-LGB students I had were women of color who had religious objections to homosexuality.

But maybe encounters like this will wake them up to the fact that although Muslims may be a minority in the West, that doesn't mean that they'd be all warm and cuddly if they achieved serious political power. On the contrary, they'd become more enthusiastic oppressors than the current ones.

I, for one, am really enjoying watching these moron's heads explode from this. 🤣 They're absolutely gobsmacked when their love is not being returned. They don't know WHAT to do, but they're like this desperate "Must...have...an opinion...."

To be fair, these masked men aren't LGBTQ whatever themselves, they're just angry men looking to co-opt a cause to justify their own shit disturbing behavior. They're exactly the reason for a lot of this backlash.
