Just gotta make everything about being transgender, don't they?

"cis gays"

edit: Bonus comment...

The LGB crowd are a bunch of “pick me’s” who think that if they help the facists that be that they’ll be safe and once that “ Transgenderism” is dealt with then they get their rights back.

"If you dare to make groups focused on the rights of same sex attracted people, then that means you're sucking up to fascists!1!1!1!" Get real.

What you have to realize at this point is that none of this rhetoric is rational. It's all intended to keep the forces riled up and stoke the fires of hysteria. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a very good way to respond to it. Because it's not rational, you can't reason with people in the grip of this mindset. What you can do is speak to people who have not yet fallen into the hysteria.

These posts also serve to distract from the stupid things that "we've" done like the wedding cake case. No one needed to bring a discrimination case against a religious baker who didn't want to bake a gay wedding cake. It was petty and vindictive. And it made us all look bad.

A discrimination test case like that should have been reserved for something serious, something most people could sympathize with, like something that threatened someone's housing, job, or medical care.

A lot of the supposed claims by trans people are made up, there is no "genocide" of trans people in the Western world-a tiny number of drug overdoses, killings over €£$ or drugs, or killings of trans people who were prostitutes does not describe genocide-trans people have more rights than your average LGB person who is open about not wanting to date, fuck, or marry trans people and who is out against children, teens, and adults under 30 getting manipulated into identifying as trans, and having irreversible surgery and taking hormones.

Well, of course, they argue that restricting transition of minors is "genocide" because they're all going to kill themselves if they can't transition, notwithstanding the fact that it's unclear whether transition affects suicide rates or not.

I find myself using the word 'hysteria' a lot now because it is a lot of collective, contagious hysteria.

Woops, the site didn't like my comment, probably because of one of my analogies, which I understand, it used some "what did you just say about..." kind of words. My other one was less charged.

They're like cats locked up in a car, panicking and escalating their own fear because they can't figure out why slamming themselves against the windows over and over again isn't working.

You’re seeing the last floundering of a dying ideology

What, same sex attraction? Way to show gratitude...

You can almost imagine them back in the day saying the same thing about Africans fighting to escape slavery.

Full of lies and misinformation, of course.

Businesses are allowed to refuse service to any member of the LGBTQ+ community.

No, that wasn't the case at all. Businesses are allowed to refuse creative expression amounting to speech that goes against their beliefs. This is a rational ruling.

I feel like it makes about as much sense to be Conservative and Gay as it does to be conservative and Black. Which is to say, no sense at all.

If it's any comfort, from the comment sections I've seen on this app, the majority of the lgbtq+ community is against removing the t.

Because everyone who would disagree is banned.

queer queer queer queer

Fuck off homophobes.

I am pretty sure, the way this is going,NONE of us LGBTs will have any rights in the end.

They want everyone othered and pushed to the brink, because they think that will trigger some 'enemies of my enemies' kind of union.

That's a fair concern, especially in the US. It seems to me like other countries are doing a better job of differentiating the LGB from the TQ+, but over here, it seems like their forced teaming has worked quite well :/

I sadly report Greece and many other European countries, even the most conservative Eastern European ones like Poland share the same forced team problem. Many comments under stories regarding the latest offensive trans/queer shenanigans blame both the LGs and the Ts.But mostly the Gs.

[–]reluctant_commenter[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That is sad to hear, though I can't say I am shocked. I have heard similar things about Poland before. LGB are the battering ram and the scapegoat, both, in transgender ideology.

lol. How is anyone so ignorant to the fact that these subs are heavily moderated and any slightly dissenting opinions are removed? ...unless you're telling OP not to care since there are very few "drop the T" folks? If that's the case please continue.

I legitimately think they don't know. They don't question the fact that they are in an echo chamber. They don't notice.

I graduated from college relatively recently and my classes did not teach critical thinking. I was lucky to have had a thorough education in critical thinking skills when I was much younger. I have often wondered how many other Gen Zers never had that opportunity. I know I would be way worse off if I hadn't; it was one of the only things that saved me when I was pressured to transition. That, and the curiosity to Google more when I was confused by transgender doctrine.

Wait,is this the Supreme Court decision that the Reddit OP and the rest of the tools are wailing about ?

Supreme Court says 1st Amendment entitles web designer to refuse same-sex wedding work.

Talk about a hysteric overreaction. Everyone in the comment section behaves as if the Supreme court banned same sex marriage or made a ruling allowing the various States to ban gay marriage if they chose to do so.

The court simply ruled that a Christian web designer can not be forced to compose a message she disapproves off due to her personal beliefs. This reminds me of the other incident with the Christian baker who got persecuted for refusing to write on top of the wedding cake, but did not refuse to bake the cake.He even offered to provide the gay couple with materials and instructions on how to write what they wished on their cake. Why don't stupid activists concentrate on things that really matter?

Yeah it's a series of lawsuits in Colorado. They created a law which can be interpreted extremely broadly so people keep bringing lawsuits trying to bankrupt small business who refuse to "speak" support for gay things. I do think this case was brought by the business owner though because the state preemptively went after her before anyone even sued.

Oh that is going to win us a lot of allies /s

The supreme court already ruled that the law can't be used to force a wedding cake baker to decorate a cake with gay iconography. In my mind that means the state law should be struck down but it wasn't and that very same baker is being sued again to make a gender transition cake under the same law. The decision this week was AGAIN coming from the same law and trying to assert that a website designer must design websites for gay weddings. I don't know what it takes to just eliminate the law which is causing the cases to keep going up to the supreme court.

[–]SwampOphelia 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That law really needs to be struck down. There is a lot of precedent that compelled speech is unconstitutional.

It's not enough that you let us take over your organizations, your language, and your spaces. Now throw yourself on the pyre for us.

They will never stop. Narcissists have no stopping point except for being destitute or dead.

Lol, the replies. The coping. The audacity of our nasty wasty LGB-selves not wanting associate with their TQ+ gender bullshit.

First, they rewrote history, and rode the coattails of LGB, now they're back at it again. Funny how they're so "trans powerful" but then they need us to help them.
