Have any of you guys tried reaching out to her, this is really depressing. I really despise the CEO's and people in charge of reddit, I hope you guys share posts like this so more lesbians so they know what the psychotic trans people are doing.

So she admits that this is conversion therapy, yet she still feels the need to apologize for who she is and seek out this abusive form of treatment. I am genuinely sorry for her and her inability to accept her sexuality without being dogpiled for it.

And what's ironic is that, despite therapy that doesn't get GNC kids on the highly dangerous and experimental treatment of puberty blockers being deemed "conversion therapy", therapy to change sexuality is okay. What?!

I think she means all she can find is conversion therapy to make her straight but she wants to continue to be a lesbian but be reeducated to also be attracted to men wearing womanface.

Hm not gonna lie, this sounds a bit like bait to me. Don't get me wrong, everything she says is true but she acts very self-reflected yet naive at the same time, so I don't quite believe that this is an "honest" question/confession. Maybe I'm too cynical, but I can't believe LGB people actually and honestly think like that about themselves. Anyway, she's holding up a mirror to TRAs, "allies" and the undecided, which is always very important. Because gender ideology IS absurd and regressive, a repackaged form of conservative homophobia.

Right here, checking in. I'm lesbian and I genuinely felt and believed this about myself, too, a few years ago, back when I first started admitting to myself that I might be lesbian.

I grew up with family members who had a sickening amount of hatred towards lesbian women, in particular. That, coupled with all the shaming posts I saw on Tumblr and other forms of social media that said that you're a horrible person if you're a lesbian who is grossed out by dick, and I felt even more horrible about being exclusively same-sex attraction. But eventually, my "solution" for it was to try to become "straight" via transitioning, rather than good old-fashioned conversion therapy. Same difference, in my opinion.

This is sad as fuck. I cannot imagine what it is like to be a gay teenager or single today. It was bad enough before. I still don't see the difference between this and conversion therapy.
