But yeah, funny how they can create groups only for trans people, groups only for nonbinary, but a group only for LGB is always seen as a personal offense.

I believe it was in Vancouver. There was openned "Transgender's Library" and all was fine, but then there openned "Women's Library" and trans activists went to boicot it, threatening with violence and physically coming to opening ceremony to make it fail, and they wanted to make it include trans people there too. So they have their own one, but they want to be in every other one as well.

Trans-specific groups are seen as fine and dandy. It reminds me of Morgane Oger getting the public funding removed from Vancouver Rape Relief because they wouldn't accept transwomen and then turning around and trying to get public funding to create a trans-only shelter.

Some of my friends make an account for FB just for a specific group they want to participate in, but don't add friends or post their own stuff. Can't advise using a fake name, as those do get caught sometimes and then you have to show ID, etc. (someone who was mad about losing a debate with me reported my real name as fake once); YMMV.

YOu can easily use fake names just make it sound like a real name with a first and last name. I never had issues. Just dont use your main email account to sign up.
