US TV "60 Minutes" doing a detransitioner segment & trans activists are freaking out

Apparently this is a new upcoming 60 Minutes segment for American TV. I clicked my way through here and found all sorts of meltdowns and the usual insane claims that not mutilating children somehow kills them.

Detransitioners are going to be the thing that topples the Transsexual Empire, that’s why the trans police on Reddit have been trying to shut down r/detrans for a good year now. They’re terrified, of the truth.

Really sad to see the the men and women there who made it out of the trans cult have their voices and opinions gaslight out of them because Reddit is so pro-trans that even if it destroyed your life you’re not allowed to be angry.

Well, they did. /r/detrans was part of the GC ban. It was only due to backlash that they relented and pulled the "oh that one was a mistake". But make no mistake - if there hadn't been backlash from that community (and, admittedly, its distancing itself from GC and LGBdtQ lent them begrudging legitimacy in the eyes of the TRAs), it would've stayed banned. They realized that this would simply Streisand Effect the situation at the time, and relented.

The only reason r/detrans was allowed to remain open (under heavy censorship) was because of big names on either side of the argument spoke out that these people deserve community and support. If Bardfin had his way r/detrans would have fell to the ban hammer already.

Jenny Boylan, heterosexual, married to a woman, father of 2, trans identified male, former co-chair of GLAAD, is claiming that HRC is "on it" regarding the 60 Minutes detrans documentary.

Wonder what "on it" means - is HRC going to try to shut the doco down?

Since HRC itself announced in 2019 that they were focusing on trans issues, I'm shocked that any homosexual would still be involved w them much less give them money.

I hope 60 MINUTES covers detransitioners honestly, but since it's US media my hope is not high.

Nah, Herzog only thinks that detransitioners' stories have a right to be aired. From what I can tell this is because so many of them are young, "edgy," "hip," childless and caught up in gender woo woo nonsense like Herzog is.

Just the other day on her video convo with Glenn Greenwald, Herzog said that coz she personally has no problem with males in communal female loos, she doesn't really see the point of female-only locker rooms, fitting rooms, shelters, refuges, hospital wards, nursing home rooms and of services and provisions that allow female people to have female-only support groups for issues around female biology and experience, and permit women & girls to get intimate care only from members of our own sex.

The one and only area Herzog said she had any reservations about including males who "identify as" trans in was female sports competitions.

Her cluelessness and/or lack of empathy for other women is really troubling and is the reason that, while I think she's funny, I cannot listen to their podcast.

It's almost like she's protesting too much to distinguish herself from the rest of us weak women, or she actually has never had anything bad happen to her as a result of being a woman. Since she's in her 30s (?), I'm guessing it's the former.
