If anything was applied to us, TrueLesbians would not be all banned from Reddit, right? Narrative is that "lesbians are oppressors, and they are doing oppression and literal violence to transgenders by refusing their dicks".

Exactly. This is why the far left drives me crazy, because it's so contradictory. (In all honesty, I am sliding from middle-left to center left.) Refusing dick = violence? WTF, that is the craziest shit I've ever heard. Cutting them OFF would be violence, but... JFC! I am now tempted to get banned from r/Actuallesbians just to see what their response is to these contradictions.

Please do this post there, even if it's only up for an hour it would be so interesting to see what their responses are .

Okay. I will do so tonight. XD I might get kicked off of Reddit, so I am debating if I want to make another account. But I kinda don't. I HAVE To do this. I will report back later.

Because the sad thing is that #MeToo QUICKLY got overran with essentially being a political and business tool against other people and ultimately still failed because it ultimately depending on others to validate these issues. Pretty much any woman who tries to #MeToo a TiM or non-binary man instantly get shuts down as being trans/homophobic. The second #MeToo starts to become actually quite hard to wrestle with who is involved for the public, people drop their support for it and go back to "simply ignoring".

Heck even with the various companies and orgs that went on saying they are "fully #MeToo" pretty much only take a reactionary stance to it on waiting for it to be a large public statement rather than actually working on their internal environments.

Unfortunately, from the inside, the people who have been claiming #MeToo in the investigations I’ve handled are mostly opportunists and it’s so infuriating when actual sexual harassment is so rampant. But most victims still fear the consequences of speaking out because we all know the pecking order and we really need our jobs to survive and have little hope that the grass is actually greener.

In the Golden State of California, I'm pretty sure (I'm going to check) at least one of the state legislators who signed a #MeToo letter complaining about sexual harassment of female legislators and lobbyists by male legislators and lobbyists just voted to put men into women's prisons.

So I guess her attitude is #MeToo but only when it really means ME. Women in prison - who gives a F?

Because we have to pretend science and nature doesn't exist and trans women are women and not mostly straight white men with a fetish cosplaying as women .

Because Tim's managed to tack their "struggles" onto the LGB rights movement long ago (still confused as to how that happened). So now all the straight ppl are convince that they must accept everything tim's say as gospel because they don't want to be accused of being a non woke/bigot/altright/nazi.

When gay men were illegal and lived underground and they did in many countries before being gay was dropped as a crime, they took what were than called transsexuals in and sheltered them. So that is the history of it.

Whenever I can I point out the cotton ceiling and get people to google it.

I want to do that to more people, too.

One of the main reasons I peaked, even though I'm hetero. I was witnessing #MeToo outrage from the same libfems, who supported rapey "Suck my girldick!" comments to lesbians. Hello, Cognitive Dissonance!

YES! This is the huge hole I see in the whole thing. #metoo doesn't apply to EVERYONE and so it's not as useful as it could be. It's so weird how backwards things are. Massive Cognitive Dissonance for sure. If #metoo was really meant to work, it would apply to everyone and not be used against people who did slightly 'weird' things. It's for straight up sexual assault, not 'I'm uncomfortable.'.
