not parodied: portrayed

The trans movement at this point is literally impossible to parody. I see the most absurd headlines and think it's a joke, but it never is.

back when I was a libfem, I dismissed as thisneverhappens. But no,it's pretty real life.

Same. I dismissed them as "super offensive" and "you don't need to make fun of every horrible thing that happens" and wah wah... then had a full 180. Fucking hell, they touch subjects that NOBODY dares to get close to.

I also used to loathe Ricky Gervais. Well, you might guess what I think of his style and sense of humour now ;)

Ricky Gervais will speak sanely on this topic and then backtrack. I think he's still scared of the effect on his career, but how much more money does he need?

He strikes me as someone who craves positive attention more than money

In all honesty - yes, I do believe he should be far braver and disown the stupid ideology in clear words.

I will not get into the so called cancel train though. If someone for any reason chooses to remain quiet about the subject I may not LOVE them for it (quite the opposite). But I got sick and tired of the constant cancelling and dismissing of individuals due to "wrong opinions" in the libfem circles I am done with that. Could he do better? Yes. Will I now consider him a betrayer and non-ally and stop watching his work because of not speaking out? No.

I want to hear more people finally speaking about this TRA bullshit like JKR has done, but I am not going to sink down to the libfem level and demand that every famous person will say the magic words OR ELSE.

From what I gather, the complaints about"cancel culture" are not about personally boycotting someone's work because you disagree with them, the complaints about "cancel culture" are about people going after careers, threatening violence, posting porn on the canceled person's twitter account - really extreme actions.

From what I understand, the issue with Gervais and some GC feminists was that after many GC feminists were sucked in to viewing him as a bit of a hero, because he was tweeting GC points, he then backtracked and tweeted or agreed with a tweet that said something to the effect of "transwomen are women." I think that Gervais knew that he was making all his new GC supporters look like fools when he backtracked, so I think it's OK if they don't want to support his work on a personal level.

For myself, I think that Gervais can be hilarious, but I don't really care about him and if he comes on my screen I'll watch if it's good, switch if it's not.

Man, South Park always hit it on the nail! They have always talked about against the TRA dogma, like when the teacher transitioned and how they talked about it!

True, when I watched the teacher ep I was a libfem so I just dismissed it, but now remembering about it, it really described AGP pretty well

First comment: "This isn't even a parody, it's real life at this point."

I really wish I would laugh at this but it's too fucking real, even down to the male aggression.

Pass it on! Play it on your back in a crowd. Screen it atop your roof! Let the whole world know: "This is what transgender looks like."
