I emailed info@jkrowling.com and info@theblairpartnership.com (which handles JKR's permissions and representation) so hopefully this person gets done for copyright infringement or whatever.

This company is rife with HP copyright infringement. https://www.teepublic.com/de/t-shirts/harry-potter

Also LOL I actually clicked on to the t-shirt and you can choose between the genders of male or female. I thought they were always criticizing others for conflating sex and gender.

Actually, Lord Voldemort was trans-alive. He was dead but was trying to cosplay living one. Without any success, thought.

I found this because #IStandWithJKRowling is trending on Twitter which lead me to this tweet: https://twitter.com/Lasconaa/status/1288816459326590976 and there was a link in the replies to the place selling them.

Can they be reported/blocked from selling these?

they could be, but you'd be labeled a transphobe for reporting them. They would find out who did it. Internet sleuthing seems to be one of the things these people can manage to do with absolute precision.

The website they're selling them on doesn't seem to have a report button or anything. They have an intellectual property policy re. copyright infringement but it would be up to JKR to sue them for that, and that would just be brought up in the news as her being anti-trans unless she sued anyone making and selling HP merchandise.

It's just infuriating that people are mocking her and acting like she's a bigot for defending women's rights while simultaneously making money off of her work.

Actually, it seems like the website says you need to have the intellectual property rights to designs you upload and you can report designs you think violate that, so I'm going to contact them. I don't really expect anything to happen though. I think they'd only take it seriously if a copyright holder contacted them.

And now the design has been removed lmao. "Aw shucks! The design you are looking for no longer exists." :D

The other designs are still up though so I guess they only went after the one I singled out. Better report the others lol

Isn't this a legal IP violation unless they have license to sell HP related products? I hope Disney go after them.

I'm annoyed by all of these but "Femmepire Not Cisterhood" really got my eye twitching.

What is a femmepire? Are they saying like a pyre like to burn femme people?
