Wow, someone is finally dishing out the violent threat to trans people that trans people are always claiming radfems are promoting... and the threat is coming from a man.

I am so shocked. It's almost as if... women aren't the ones who threaten violence against those they disagree with? And no radfem has ever said this or supported this ever? And no radfem has ever killed or threatened physical harm against a trans person ever?

So weird.

Absolutely. I've spent a lot of time around dudebros who are casually sexist, right-wing, and legitimately disdain trans people and don't hold back ruthlessly mocking them and using demeaning language, and some of them are clued in to the damage of the gender movement and are angry with the trans movement as a whole for the attempts at censorship and going into women's sports to beat the fuck out of women cough Fallon Fox cough and talk about how they will punch any man who follows their girlfriend/wife/daughter into a locker room or who tricks them into sex, and I have NEVER heard one of them saying trans people should die or that it would be good to "kill transgenders."

That's such an unnatural construction anyway, if I see that online I'd assume it's a troll, whether they're trans and trying to make it seem like a forum is bigoted against them or they're some 15-year-old little shit who doesn't care either way but thinks it's funny to get a rise out of people with inflammatory language. There are obviously some violent dudes who would enjoy randomly beating the shit out of some man who is obviously either trans or in drag, and these are the same guys who randomly bash gay dudes. They don't tend to shout about killing gay or trans people unless they're about to do it.

If this guy is legit and not a plant, he is severely mentally ill and needs to be on a watch list because even "normal" haters don't typically act like that. In fact, even if he is a plant, the same can be said for him.

Since MtF trans is remarkably silent about the males who assault them, I doubt they'll go after pro-police guys (although it sounds like it was just one protester), but I also think they'll be unable to make the leap to GC critics here, because it's hard to imagine police patriots being influenced by feminists. But anyway this slur chant is what lesbians and gays have typically experienced throughout much of their history.

I don't know if anyone was paying attention on Reddit during the primaries, but there was barely a peep of Biden support there. I remember several threads on, say, /askaliberal, asking Biden supporters why they are still supporting Biden. Very few actual Biden supporters responded, and instead discussion was mostly other liberals explaining why they thought someone might support Biden or outright criticizing Biden.

I know there's a lot of criticism for Biden here, and I understand why, so with all due respect, I'm not interested in that discussion. What I do find interesting is that after the primary, Redditors were in shock that Biden won the nom so easily. I've been hanging around the internet as soon as I could get my hands on a modem. Back in the day people freely spoke their minds, anonymously or not. As the years passed and social media use became more ubiquitous, more and more people started seeing and feeling the danger of airing your opinions in type. Surprisingly to me, this has resulted in popular opinions being silenced.

Of course, I'm not going to take anything for granted during this time. However, I've got two colleagues that proudly wear their bespoke pronoun pins on their Fjallraven backpacks that will more likely than not vote the exact same way I do no matter what anyone has to say about trans issues. Teacher's unions advocate for teacher-positive initiatives and candidates. Those two young teachers have a harder time paying the rent than an established old hand like me, so I guarantee you, no matter what they might be saying ideologically, they do inevitably listen to union advice and vote with their pocketbook.

I'm so glad the adherents of gender dogma have re-educated me that I am actually a Trump supporter. Here I was thinking I supported Yang and Sanders during the primaries and Biden is too center neoliberal for me. I really have egg on my face now, going outside when I don't even have a MAGA hat. Maybe I could just embroider "MAGA" onto a pussy hat. After all, we are all the ultimate arbiters of our identity, except when some woke mob declares that we don't actually have the political or moral convictions we think we have. Then self-ID goes from sacred to sacrilege.
