She hasn't changed her stance in the last couple of days. TiMs will be removed from the app if reported but she isn't personally a rad fem so she's stating that.

There's does seem to be a bullying campaign against her from a few of the usual suspects and frankly it's embarrassing.

I doubt she'll remove them. She was staunchly pro TRA before and some MtF helped develop the app-- and she bragged about that fact. If anything, she's making statements that "trans people are banned" just to lure GC folks onto the app--- to help the trans brigade on her team "hunt and extinguish the TERFS" more easily. Facial recognition. Trans activists now have your face to identify you once you sign up.

Huh. I'm confused, too. I was actually considering joining after she backed out on allowing TIMs, but looking at her tweets, it sounds like she's pro-TIMs again? What is going on?

About the sex work thing, I see she is arguing that the sex work category is meant to help mentor women out of sex work, but the icon alone makes it pretty clear that is bullshit.

I also find it unintentionally funny that the woman depicted as the patient in the "health" category coincidentally looks just like the "sex worker". It's like subliminal messaging about all the health problems going into that line of "work" causes women.

It seems like an open invitation to groom girls into "the trade", particularly when you consider the childish name, the sparkly pink-ness of it, etc, girls who are under legal age WILL try to sign up. Trans and men WILL try to join the app and figure out ways around the registration requirements, many of them are IT savvy already.

Everything I'm hearing out if this is really a mess. I followed her on Twitter for a few days and their messaging and execution seems very confused.

I was also interested to see that even by very generous interpretations, my field of work isn't in there at all. No giggling for me I guess. 😄

What is their goal?

She has made the platform as female only as she can but she isn't going to make it rad fem because most women aren't rad fem. It's never going to align with every one of their personal beliefs so what are they hoping to achieve? It seems they just want to win but there's no prize other than trashing another woman.

Same poster has already said I'd make a "perfect TRA". Not sure if she has a vested interest or what. Tons of the app's creator's Twitter statements totally flip-flop and contradict each other. I don't see what's so wrong about being suspicious of her motives. Considering how transactivists want to use social media to target "TERFS", I see no problems in being suspicious about the motives of someone who specifically advertises to GC people while also claiming that Trans people are welcome, and that trans people helped develop the app. Something isn't "right".

The app promoter is still putting up passive-aggressive tweets. I really think she should just advertise her app as it is. If people don't want it, they don't want it. At least be consistent with your statements. It's bizarre she took so much offense at the criticism of having a sex-work sub. If you want to create an app for sex workers, don't advertise it to 16 year old girls. Last thing anybody needs is for pimps' recruiters to seek out girls online via an app.
I still can't fathom using face-recognition on an app, then posting to a sex-work sub. If the app gets hacked, people will have access to your image as well as your account-- which could "out" a sex worker. I'm sure most sex-workers don't want to be "outed". Or-- if you post to a sub that is considered "terfy", any hackers will be identify your face based on your post history.
