Yeah, cause women can't think for themselves uvu. We need trans women, men, and their handmaidens to tell us who we've been all along. /s

I for one, found GC on my own after reading some news and seeing people scream terf at what seemed to be reasonable comments. My views haven't changed, it's just that the left has now deemed it radical when just a few years ago, most of them had the same view. It's not my view that's radical, it's theirs.

Exactly. I didn’t leave the left on this stuff, they left me. My ‘radical opinion’ that women are xx and men are xy and men don’t belong in women’s changing rooms would’ve simply been met with a ‘no shit’ by everyone a decade ago (and I think the vast majority probably still believe that in secret, they just won’t say it).

Yeah, I'm baffled. I'm still an environmentalist. I'm still proud of my union and my labor union family. We're pretty damn blue. But I look down for a second and the whole place is wrecked. And wrecked over something so utterly trifling.

I agree. My views have stayed the same over the last decade while the "discourse" has drastically changed. I've always thought gender non-conforming people should be protected, that transsexuals should be treated as their assumed sex, and that questioning people should be properly supported. But I've also recognized the biological basis of womanhood, and I refuse to conflate male and female in spaces in which the female sex is vulnerable.

A decade ago, I did not know anyone who called themselves transgender. Limiting my social circle only to those I also knew ten years ago, I now know 4 middle-aged MTT, 3 childhood transitioners (MTT, FTT, FTT), and 2 adult FTT.
