I've been very reluctant to link the BBC, as I see them as the UK's propaganda outfit. Nonetheless, the Swedish rise of the really rich is a very bad thing. It's not the egalitarian society it was and no model for the left.

The tweet:

This is huge: https://manilatimes.net/2024/05/08/news/wescom-chief-agreed-to-chinas-new-model/1945210

China has released a recording of a phone call between the Chinese embassy and a top Filipino military chief, Vice Adm. Alberto Carlos, chief of the Western Command (Wescom), in which the latter says that the entire chain of command of the Philippine military was on board with the "new model" for peacefully managing the situation in the Second Thomas Shoal. The recording was made on January 3, 2024 so well after Bongbong Marcos came to power in 2022.

The "new model" in question according to the transcript (pictured) is one where the Philippines would only supply "food and water or humanitarian subsistence" to the Sierra Madre ship stuck on the shoal, and not construction material to convert the ship into a permanent outpost. This is the deal China has always said they'd struck with the Philippines and which Marcos always denied. And this was the reason behind the water cannons: to prevent the supply of construction material in violation of the deal.

Former president Duterte also a couple of weeks ago went on TV to declare that he himself had agreed on this deal with China during his administration.

Anyhow, long story short, the proofs accumulate that Marcos has been stunningly dishonest and duplicitous on this topic. Accusing China of acting out of the blue when it was he who violated an agreement made not only during the previous administration but his administration too!

Bro, I remember the first time I had a gas issue. I was 38. I was in Rochester, NY on business. I woke up to the most incredible pain I've ever felt in my guts. Not having felt it before my first inclination was to go the emergency room. But something told me to just go to the drug store and get some gas pills. 5 minutes later I was fine. But the pain was shockingly bad. Pretty crazy.

Exactly one month later, my son was complaining about the same thing and his mother wanted to take him to the emergency room, and since I had just this issue I mentioned maybe giving him some gas pills and see what happens.

This was the night before Halloween and I was on my way to a Halloween party all dressed up. She of course called me an idiot and took him to the emergency room. So I'm at the hospital in a Halloween costume that included dirt on my face, missed the party.

$1800 dollars later the doctor comes in and says go get some Beano.

Yes, she asked me to help pay for it. For fucks sake.

If you close your eyes and stick your head in the sand, you can ignore the vicious, brutal violence shown in that clip. That’s why you won’t watch it.

Then to equate the violence in that clip eith the USA’s action during a war against very evil enemies again shows a lack of understanding of reality.

The reason we are all sinners is because we live in an imperfect world. Mudslimes and Gooks want to kill us. joos will rob us. Niggers are retarded, violent parasites who destroy everything. We cannot be perfect Christians and remain alive. So we have to do the best we can to implement Christian principles under the circumstances.

Wake up and open your eyes to the evil around you.

Better in some aspects, but does that mean better on this battlefield? Is it better to be in a machine with more chance of survivability during assault that can see the enemy before they can see you? Which areas do you compromise for the better advantage?

I think this comes down to how many does each side have and how they use them. Each has is advantages and each is capable given the training/experience of the crews.

If you’re dealing with a termite problem, you’re not alone. Termite infestations are a fairly common occurrence, and they can cause a lot of damage if they’re not taken care of quickly. That’s where our team of experts comes in. We offer comprehensive termite control services that will take care of the problem for you. We’ll work with you to come up with a plan that meets your specific needs, and we’ll take care of the rest. What can you expect when you work with us? First, we’ll do a thorough inspection of your property to determine the extent of the infestation. We’ll then develop a treatment plan based on our findings. Once the plan is in place, we’ll begin to implement it. This may involve the use of chemicals, heat or steam, or bait stations. We’ll also take steps to prevent future infestations, such as installing termite shields around your home or treating the soil around your property. We understand that dealing with termites can be stressful, so we’ll do everything we can to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for you.

I've carried the small ones through security many times. I have a few of the different types and also recommend them. (Maximum blade length in the UK is 3" for foldable knives, so I rarely bother adding any to checked luggage, and I try to avoid checking luggage.) We could perhaps discuss the quality of the steel, which is not as good as some of the knives you purchase. I have some of those high-carbon knives as well. But I've made very good use of a broad range of the Victorinox knives since the 1970s and have been happy, in general with them. For example, I still have a large chef knife from the mid-1970s, which has been easy to sharpen and has stayed sharp for longer periods than my fancier high-carbon Japanese kitchen knives, which are razer sharp but require regular sharpening.

Near collapse of Earth’s magnetic field 591 million years ago may have allowed complex life to thrive

Earth’s magnetic field almost collapsed 591 million years ago, and this change may have played a pivotal role in the blossoming of complex life, new research has found. This coincides with geothermal theory of global warming, according to which the magnetic field intensity is corellated with global temperatures. The low temperatures and climatic changes speed up an evolution of adapted life forms.

Prometheus Energy (Italy) Claim LENR H2 Production system. by ZephirAWT in ScienceUncensored

Prometheus Energy (Italy) Claim LENR H2 Production system The Prometheus project (prometheusreactor.com) started in 2018 with a team of technicians who worked in close collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan and Bicocca. An entirely made in Italy project that will become operational in a fairly short time:

"We have created a reactor capable of developing high-efficiency green energy. From a spark, which we are able to repeat and control, we will produce energy at the service of people and industry." says Salvatore Majorana, director of Kilometro Rosso. In an interview with Il Corriere della Sera he explains:

With a small amount of energy, produced by a battery of a traditional car, we are able to induce a transformation of water capable of releasing large quantities of hydrogen, and it is not a matter of electrolysis". “We are counting on a year and a half, but it is already ready to be presented to investors. We are in the field of Lenr (low energy nuclear reaction), a branch of physics that has been little studied to date and which is now involving researchers from MIT to Caltech to Doe. Recently the European Union has also been financing some projects to which several leading experts in Italy are paying attention. In these five years we have already achieved results of objective importance. And this is confirmed by the third parties we asked to certify and measure what happens in our reactor", adds Majorana.

I couldn't find detailed information on their technology, but from few slices and bits on the web it seems to be based on the well known (and never explained) underwater arc phenomenon, as described, among others, by Graneau (George Hathaway, Peter Graneau, Neal Graneau, "Solar Energy Liberation from Water by Electric Arcs". Journal of Plasma Physics Vol. 60, Part 4, pp.775-786, 1998). They just harvest the liberated energy as gas pressure and/or hydrogen. See also:

its colonization with Russian citizens

If you think this is the case then you've missed the point of this war from the Russian perspective. Russia could have swallowed Ukraine already had they intended to colonize the nation state. This is exactly what the west wants to happen. A colonized Ukraine means the west's intel goons can fill up the place with insurgencies to fuck up the country and destabilize Putin's political base. The Russian goal is and has always been to have a defensive perimeter to stop NATO from parking missiles on their door step and threatening to use them if they keep demanding fair market value for their oil and gas. Russia was content to leave the Ukrainian US run puppet government in power as long as they never officially join NATO. Since it's clear at this point the US intends to spend every drop of Ukrainian blood in order to break up and balkanize a defeated Russia. The Russians instead retreated to fortified positions to rope-a-dope the west into throwing every solider, arms and weapon system into battle to force them to exhaust the Western government's ability to wage war. Russia is effectively disarming the west by bleeding them white. Ukraine is losing ground as they can no longer field armies to fight off the ever present Russian forces. They are exhausted prey getting walked down by a patient and practiced predator. All the pressure is on the west to salvage the situation. Russia will continue to push the Ukrainian government to implode and put the country back together as they see fit without any great occupation the west is so fond of. The west will have no say in how Russia reforms Ukraine as they been systematically defanged and they don't have the forces needed to oppose the Russia in any real capacity. I expect great anguish and rage from the Ukraine's remaining soldiers redirected at the west in a series of terrorist attacks that we pretend we didn't see coming.

The message is quite clear -- "We are the Russians, resistance is futile."

The West is the Borg in this analogy. It's Russia that isn't following the west's hive mind of authoritarianism. The west has been trying to grind Russia into dust since the outbreak of the Great War in 1914. They came close to totally destroying Russia in the mid-90s, but they got greedy and forgot to break up the country when they had the chance. They are decades late to do anything to stop Russia from setting it's own political, economic and social agenda.

I guess Vladimir Putin was a big fan of "Star Trek : The Next Generation", back in the 1980's when he was an up and coming KGB agent in the Soviet Union. And, the concept of "The Borg" made quite an impression on him.

Do you have a source for this? It was a significant endeavor to just to get western media in Soviet Union. If the people in the Soviet Union wanted to listen to banned western music they'd have to get bootleg copies recorded on discarded x-rays. Where would Putin have even gotten the technology to even watch ST:TNG without getting caught with banned materials and video equipment? In the 90s I could see it happening perhaps.

Now, it's quite common, I've noticed, to compare the Russians to the "Orcs", from Lord of the Rings, these days, in the Western media.

Everything new is well-forgotten old. - Russian proverb

And, indeed, I'm by no means sure that J.R.R. Tolkien did not indeed have Stalin in mind with Sauron, and that Mordor was not the Soviet Union, in the mind of the creator of the Lord of the Rings.

The Lord of the Rings is Tolkien coping with his experiences in the Great War. The orcs are a representation of what happens to soldiers on the western front twisted by their leaders to commit atrocities great and small for nearly a half a decade.

They are not evil, but, actually, highly functional. It is a perfectly legitimate conception of society, although it sublimates the individual to the greater whole -- a conception that is anathema to the Western mindset. Of course, Westerners will submit to higher authority, if need be, for a time. However, they do so reluctantly.

This is straight delusional fart sniffing. The west has little to no real opposition to the oligarchy that has total control over the "free thinking" western dipshits. They have not done a damn thing to stop them from grinding the Ukrainian people into meat paste for the last ten years for "freedom". Westerners have ensured the Ukrainian people's slavery for generations and don't even know it. Eastern Ukraine has already been "sold" to Black Rock and nobody cares that every resource in eastern Ukraine will be drained into Black Rock's coffers. If the west wins in eastern Ukraine the citizens will become impoverished and powerless neo-serfs in their own land. If Russia wins loyal Ukrainians will be exiled from their homes if they have not already been churned up in the slaughter. The west has severe brain rot from repeating the same self indulgent narcissistic propaganda.

In contrast, in traditional China, in the Mongol Empire, and, in Russia, which learned so much from the Mongols, the conception of the hive mind is much more familiar, and much more acceptable. We really should bear this in mind, don't you think?

I don't think you read enough or listen enough to have a basic grasp history, politics, literature, or culture. Resorting to pop culture references that miss the mark entirely didn't work. Authoritarianism is bad. Wow. How profound. Another person lost in the weeds.
