From personal experience: do NOT allow men to rob your space (in real life or online) by vitunrotta in GenderCritical

I had a very similar experience. When I was a teenager I lived in a bit of a rough area and I would get catcalled and leered at constantly. I too chose to wear baggy clothing, no makeup, just really trying to look as unnoticeable as a girl/woman as I possibly could. It didn't help at all.

What I learnt as I got older is that men actually back down and even get nervous when you own your own body. It's actually safer to wear makeup, fitted clothes. I'm not sure it's the clothes so much as the fact you have the confidence to wear them, if that makes sense? I actually read a post from a woman who worked in a care home with senile old men who said another member of staff recommended she wear makeup as it intimidates them from poor behaviour. And it worked.

No he molests them by touching their chests, some of the girls move their bodies out of the way, some try to brush him away. Yes, my uncle was a pedophile thanks very much.... Like, what the fuck, am I on a fucking feminist website or not? Is it just a knee jerk partisan thing? Trump is shit too, sorry for not disclaiming?

Biden's a fucking pedophile. There were lots of copies of an incredibly creepy video of him molesting girls IN FRONT OF THEIR PARENTS. You can see some of the gifs on joebiden.info (don't know anything else about that site) but quite something how they managed to get all those videos on youtube taken down, or hidden at least.

Because they are narcissists who fail to get the real life narcissistic supply most narcissists manage to some extent. Every single person here should read up on narcissism. It's actually incredibly tragic what happens to these people but it's literally impossible to help them.

It's the effect of people being conditioned over generations to reject the "good". Fundamentally, things that work and are stable can be seen as true and morality is supposed to initiate enough people into following something vaguely approximating that abstract concept for society to function. You don't have to conceive of it in a religious way but that's what people mean when they talk about the battle of good and evil. There are always a minority who very consciously follow evil but they are now powerful enough to let their mask slip as those in the middle are now too ignorant to recognise the danger or are gradually being led that way themselves.

I think the truth of it is that most people we've seen on TV in the last 15-20 years aren't real journalists or comedians. They're basically actors, so when the zeitgest shifted, they all just went along with it for the paychecks.

This is it for me. It's taken me a long time to learn to trust my perceptions. Didn't help that one of my friends was a somewhat creepy SJW non-binary. He would, without the faintest glimmer of self-reflection, monologue at me about what feminism was, absolutely sure of himself that he was right about everything because he now had this massive group of people who would support him as long as he toes the line. I might write about it at some point, I learnt so much about how the cult thinks from him. But yeah, generally becoming more confident in myself is making me freer to say what I really think

I think they're making a big mistake with this one. Back in the day is was unthinkable that MySpace could fail. Digg was huge and self destructed which created the influx of users to reddit. Facebook isn't popular with young people now. The big companies may try and corral people but the internet is still very fluid underneath.

Apparently Contrapoints used to read Gender Critical - so he does know exactly how dishonest and woman hating he is by CaliforniGinger in GenderCritical

[–]raslyana 19 insightful - 3 fun19 insightful - 2 fun20 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Contrapoints is severely mentally ill. He hate reads Kiwi Farms as well and will probably follow here. He was a lot more lucid when he first started his youtube channel, (at the time he seemed to be sharing something authentic) but ive noticed a pattern in men who seem to briefly surface and realise some of the harm they've caused. They often shortly afterwards start identifying as a woman or non binary because they don't have the strength to change their behaviour but can't put the genie back in the bottle when it comes to how misogynistic they are. If they're a woman, and they can get everyone else to agree, they're no longer the problem. It's a narcissistic ego defence.

I can see a new wave of powerful female creativity coming through this. You'll notice that, outside of manipulation tactics, TIMs and the like are normally pretty lacking in the artistry department, and that's because they're so out of contact with themselves
