The map is very striking: Hispanics don’t allow nig nog gangs in their neighborhoods and whites are far less violent. There’s also extensive audio of shots fired and Inglewood has double any other neighborhood.

it's kind of like stand your ground but not really because it was much later after the guy attacked his mom. I get it though. I think special consideration should be given to the fact that the asshole that died was no loss for humanity so that is the main reason the woman and 14 year old son should be found not guilty.

tbh I'm not sure if they should be found not guilty at all. Murder shouldn't be taken lightly just because the fuckwit did something very bad (albeit not that permanent of a damage), he could have been having a very bad month/year/whatever. I'm still rooting for the kid, but when I first had an opinion on it I thought the mom was probably trying to save her kid by taking the blame.

But the vid kinda looks like the mom drove the kid there, while also looking like they never left (she's wearing the same clothes and all). In my opinion: the mom should have stopped the kid and moved the fuck out of there, and killing someone for beating you up after it had already deescalated isn't something that should just be swept under the rug.

I was skeptical about the story at first because the media censored all the video of the guy attacking the woman. But after seeing it I have to say the kid did the right thing. That thug was nothing but trouble for everyone who had the misfortune of crossing paths with him.
