Likely my favorite ghost stories of all time that do not appear demon-related is the Ghost of Lincoln found here = https://www.grunge.com/487275/the-legend-of-abraham-lincolns-ghost-in-the-white-house-explained/ and I especially like the meeting Lincoln had with Winston Churchill as Winston was getting out of a bathtub naked and said to Lincoln "you have me at a disadvantage sir". Lincoln has been reported to have been seen many times and is this true I am Christian and I do not see why not. Maybe he gets a Day Pass to go back and have a look-see. One day when a teenager on a runabout I was free-climbing up a very tall vertical wall in Yosemite about 1976 no ropes or gear and made a bad move and felt the very real grip of a hand on my ankle and believe to this day the Angel in charge of my fool ass reached out to prevent me from getting killed in a VERY long fall. I am 63 today and at about 15 yo I had a lot of work in front of me.

Careful, a lot of "ghosts" are impersonators. Including "God" and "Jesus" when they meet you in the white light after death. It could be anything, but it's mainly demons trying to deceive people. I know they run this world and don't want people to find out the truth about the system. Why they do it I don't know, perhaps they're a bunch of sadists.

Still others are actually time glitches, and you see past events or a shadow of them, when no one is really there. A lot of times it turns out those people are actually still alive somewhere, just older now.

On any web search you can come across a number of books like these = https://www.billygrahambookstore.org/angels and some stories of those meeting Angels simply beyond disbelief. Quite real. Even the Bible teaches us that Angels walk here on earth plain as day but are not perceived as they do not wish to be. Demons on the other hand would want to hide themselves as I enjoy the phrase "the greatest lie Satan ever told is that he does not exist".

"Angels" can also be demons in disguise. Don't be fooled; anything could be a lie.

While offering no evidence I very much doubt it takes much to tell who and what a demon is and does and what an Angel of Jesus is and does. If I have ever met an Angel I don't recognize one but the few demon possessed I have met their evil was quite plain as a rattlesnake coiled ready to strike.

It is NOT obvious. They are masters of trickery and deception. They are like Palpatine, pretending they're on your side and that they're someone they're not. They will pose as anything they think you will listen to, and their poison is so subtle that even those who are on guard have trouble detecting it, or distinguishing impersonators from the real figure. This is why "God" tells people to do things like mass shootings, because it's actually a demon pretending to be God. It's why "Jesus" tells people that grace is not enough and that they have to reincarnate. But they absolutely want you to think they're obvious and stupid, so that you don't watch out for them.

They have been running this circus for millennia. They know what they're doing.

You're preaching to the choir mate. Enough of this demon crap. End of string.

I too seem to be a "golden vessel" protected from all major physical harm. Never any broken bones, no surgeries, no cavities, nothing. I can't help but feel like the archons are setting me up for something, like suddenly hitting me with insane amounts of injury when I'm not ready to handle it. Every good thing and all the good luck I've ever had followed that pattern; I only had it so that they could suddenly take it away and make the following troubles more painful. Or perhaps it's to make me look like the most perfect person to other people, when really I'm living a nightmare.

Because you've got no body to be with!

Why would you want to?

I may be an atheist who has only seen ghosts on various psychoactive substances during prolonged periods of sleep deprivation and nutrient deficiencies, but I'd like to weigh in on this.

A ghost may not exactly be a sentient, or cognitive spirit, it may be a spirit in limbo or repetitive state where they are trapped. Similarly, the concept of a ghost may in fact be an imprint on space-time which is so profound that it breaks through at random intervals, appearing like a person but is actually a memory.

The fact that I've switnessed profound visions through stimulant abuse and psychedelic use over the years has led me to question whether there is a way to see through to another realm, where there are beings which can be interacted with. On every occasion it was purely visual with no audible communication, and always with limitations as to what can be seen and what can be comprehended. These were more than just shadow people, but are most likely just projections of my imagination.

If anything that we do see is a real ghost, what can they interact with other than turning up places to observe? To be human is to experience sensation. Emotion is chemically driven, and all senses are experienced through chemicals and electrical signals through our nervous system. I don't see how any of that can be achieved in a spiritual state.

Why not? In fact you already are, right at this very moment. Because nothing in this world is real. It is now that you are trapped.

Your suspicion about memory imprints is the correct explanation for the "limbo" sightings. As a matter of fact, the people in those are often still alive; you may even see your younger self. Those are nothing but memories, they do not count.

The limitations you experience are natural limitations. They are yours, not the other's. If you need substances to see anything at all, which of you is more likely the disabled one?

Ah, the ghost in the machine. If we are thinking along lines of the matrix, I cannot deny that I'd be curious as to the extent that a ghost could exist on such a platform. That may well breach the boundaries of the required physical state to experience that which we define as being human, a ghost in the machine would continue to do so but without the constraints of what we consider life as we know it.

I would think they're kind of like the red pillers hacking in.

Typical negative characteristics of the concept of ghost in many cultures:

  • A lack of agency - a ghost generally cannot interact physically with their surroundings, or can only do so in a very limited capacity.

  • A lack of contact - a ghost is often portrayed as being invisible to most if not all of the living, and might not be able to communicate in any meaningful way. Even if they can communicate, they may be misunderstood or feared.

  • A lack of freedom - ghosts are frequently described as being bound to a specific location and unable to leave. The location could be an entire town but could also be limited to the interior of a single house.

  • A lack of closure - ghosts are commonly thought to have "unfinished business" that they need to resolve before they can move on to a less earthly afterlife, but are unable to do so because of the previously mentioned points. Every moment of their existence therefore may be filled with regret, sadness, frustration, or anger.

  1. Use the force (yes it's real, it's the same thing as "the matrix" which is everywhere and all around us).

  2. Fear makes sense. But the rest makes little sense. Often you hear of people being drawn into whole false realities (which aren't actually any more false than this one, but regardless), which is far greater than what we can accomplish. And it makes sense cuz the matrix.

  3. This is nonsense. If even we aren't bound to specific location like that, no way they could be. Plus I highly doubt they're intended to be here at all, they would be redpills hacking in. This notion comes from people confusing them with memory imprints or time glitches.

  4. Perhaps. It could also be that they didn't fall for the white light trap and the propaganda that life in this world is a good thing. Day in and day out the Stoic logos crap is blasted everywhere: "nothing is really bad, evil doesn't really exist, the world is divine and good, everything is ultimately good, nature is the basis of morality, all your suffering and hard work will pay off, you need to live life to learn, you need to pay for bad karma and don't listen to Galilean prophets who can absolve that, we're all one..." Almost every belief system falls for that, and nearly every religion tells you to go into the white light tunnel to "heaven", despite the warning that "The kingdom of God is not coming with observation, nor will they say 'Look here' or 'There'; look, the kingdom of God is inside of (or among) you" (Luke 17:20b-21). And now with the rising popularity of atheism people are so gullible as to think there is nothing else but this. But for those who nonetheless haven't fallen for it, "unfinished business" is hardly the only reason.

It dead, and rarely happy about it

[–]Vulptex[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's ridiculous. It must be like The Shawshank Redemption and The Matrix, where after so long people are so institutionalized and dependent on the system that they can't handle not being under it.
