While offering no evidence I very much doubt it takes much to tell who and what a demon is and does and what an Angel of Jesus is and does. If I have ever met an Angel I don't recognize one but the few demon possessed I have met their evil was quite plain as a rattlesnake coiled ready to strike.

It is NOT obvious. They are masters of trickery and deception. They are like Palpatine, pretending they're on your side and that they're someone they're not. They will pose as anything they think you will listen to, and their poison is so subtle that even those who are on guard have trouble detecting it, or distinguishing impersonators from the real figure. This is why "God" tells people to do things like mass shootings, because it's actually a demon pretending to be God. It's why "Jesus" tells people that grace is not enough and that they have to reincarnate. But they absolutely want you to think they're obvious and stupid, so that you don't watch out for them.
They have been running this circus for millennia. They know what they're doing.
