There is a huge market and desire for a good social media platform, which isn't manipulated.

I have little confidence that a centralized platform can fill this market need. Decentralized all the things!

I had a Parler account a while back and they censored dissenting views also. I agree that decentralization is the way.

Decentralized is hard. Xmpp/jabber exist. Gnu social exists. Email exists.

But most people don't want decentralized. They want someone else to do anything hard for them. In fact you can even tell them that you'll do it for them, but you'll be the one who owns the pecker or twat pic they privately send to someone else and you are gonna scam everything looking for keywords to sell to marketing companies, and they'll happily acquiesce...
