Only when filthy liberals were adversely affected did the system finally abandon their convictions to do something about it, and absolutely no one on the left is offended about the construction. Fancy that.

Wait a second, I am PRETTY sure I remember the left having aneurisms about this very thing when Trump wanted to do it, is this another one of those ok for me, but not for thee. Personally, I think the wall is fucking stupid, destroys more wildlife than roads do, and will do little to nothing to help this situation..... but yeah lets spend billions on worthless walls instead of hundreds of millions on hiring a SHITLOAD of people, training them well, equipping them well, to instead secure the boarder. What, broke ass KOREA can do this but USA can't? We have MASSIVE amounts of drones, including SUPER inexpensive personal/small business drones like stuff from DJI that can do non-stop regular patrols coupled with AI to fly, charge, and identify people trying to cross, then the ton of hired people to intercept. This is not hard guys, we do this at nearly all military sites already, yet somehow a WALL that kids can literally just walk through is what we are going with?

I'll bet money Trump had his buddies companies building the wall originally, and they all used the cheapest shit and skimmed 65% of the money off the top outright..... and now the democrats have it, they saw/... "well shit we can also get rich!! Let's tell the people this is a great idea, because we will... hmm.. do it differently so it works now" and here come the blind hypocrites probably going to say how stunning and brave a wall is now. I am sure it had NOTHING to do with the money, and with calling their bullshit bluffs and sending all those illegals to blue cities.

And I would bet that you are 100% wrong about that,.

Mr Trump owns so many revenue producing businesses that he doesn't need to screw you over when he's acting as your president and commander-in-chief.

Joe Biden on the other hand has become rich being nothing but a politician with a small salary.

Trump has never been rich, his father was. Any money Trump had was completely in and out with no actual accrued wealth, and pretty much swindling people. Don't get me started on how such an amazing business man has more failed businesses than actual money in the bank. But that is neither here nor there.

I can MORE than guarantee you that this is what happens, because this is what happens at MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper projects, projects that actually have oversight, where the wall does not and did not. But, because I think it is fun to pop delusion bubbles.... Southwest Valley Constructors Co. is the company that built 6.7 miles... yes you read that correctly, 6.7 miles for 167MILLION dollars. That 6.7 miles of wall is currently falling apart in multiple areas, has concrete CRUMBLING all over it (chinese concrete boiz), and will need to be completely rebuilt in just a few more years as it is almost now a hazard, not a wall. That company, is owned by Gary Kite... and you can just look him up ;)

We're going to find out how rich he is, because the New York fraud case will wind up all his businesses (Unless there are some that never did anything in New York), and seek them for parts.

So he'll walk of with how much cash he's worth (less tax).

As an aside, I can't think of another businessman who has failed so completely.

Following is a web archive of a list of Mr Trump's businesses, and only some of them.

The web page that is archived here is put together by a group that wished to destroy Mr Trump by clogging up his phone lines etc.

Notice the lengthy list of substantial businesses that Mr Trump operates.

Tell me Mr /u/boboki, please show us a list of all of the businesses that you operate? I'm sure that's going to be a lengthy list of prosperous enterprises. And no running your mouth as a forum troll doesn't count as a business.

I can't even imagine how brilliant of a business manager you have to be to manage this long of a list of businesses.

Surely you're much more successful than Mr Trump.

    ... impressive list

I sampled "Trump International Realty", and in that case you've only padded it 35-fold by including it that many times.

The parent, Trump Org is being pulled apart for fraud in New York. These will all be broken up and sold off once the appeals process is complete in a few years.

I can't imagine how psychopathic of a business manager you'd have to be to commit this long list of frauds and failures.

Surely you're much more fraudulent than Mr. Trump

Following is a list of Mr Trump's business failures, and only some of them.

The web page that here is put together by a group that wished to do due diligence while partnering with Mr Trump.

Notice the lengthy list of substantial failures both of both bankruptcy and fraud that Mr Trump has lead.

Tell me Mr /u/skankydick, please show us a list of all of the bankruptcies you've suffered. I'm sure that's going to be a lengthy list of abject failures. And no running your mouth as a forum troll doesn't count as a bankruptcy or fraud.

Remind me what an appeal to authority logical fallacy has to do with the many MANY MANY failed Trump businesses. It always surprises me how many people always feel they need to "protect" or "defend" uber rich/privileged or companies..... it's just insane crazy. These people would not spend the energy to look in your direction if it would save your life, but here you are shilling like that's your husband. I will go with the fact you had to straight away use a logical fallacy that you have no real argument, and no actual defence.... so here, just to watch you reeeeee https://labor411.org/411-blog/here-are-all-of-trump-s-bankruptcies-and-failed-businesses/

Looks like just a few (13 or so) failed Trump businesses and another like 6 times with bankruptcy. Ahh yes, the calling card of business geniuses... ROFL

Agree that the wall is an environmental cluster bomb.

There's no way environmental laws should be waived.

Biden's reasoning is that the funding had been allocated, so it's dead money, or he lets them build another 20 miles of wall. He still agrees that walls don't work.

They should spend it on investigating the environmental impact. If they can't do that, it would be a better user of the money to have it sit dead instead of doing harm.

I've suspected that the border wall is part of the agenda to trap Americans after the collapse.

They managed to get people to beg for their imprisonment.

Yep, even Mexican workers stated that Mexico signed off on the construction for that very reason.

Feels like just yesterday that walls were racist, xenophobic, and all that other jewish nonsense.

The popular discourse surrounding immigration and border security is just utterly retarded from both sides. Open border? What the fuck does that mean? Closed border? What the fuck does that mean.

North South Korea border is a "closed border" nobody can cross legally. You can try to cross illegally you'll get arrested.

Most border crossings are "open" in the sense there's a legal way to cross. Opposed to "open" borders like the Schengen area where people can cross without border controls at all.

I can't make heads or tails of what most people in the news are talking about when it comes to US immigration and border control. Sounds like half the people are just spouting talking points they've been given but have probably never actually been to a border themselves.

    [–]brimshae 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Most border crossings are "open" in the sense there's a legal way to cross

Which is not the common usage of the term "open borders" when talking about the Southern US border. "Open borders" in this sense refers to the unchecked flood of people coming in from literally all over the world.

Well, I'll hand it to Trump. He successfully convinced us to start calling fences "walls."

    [–]topiary2 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

He was probably not the first one who mention it.

Also, calling them fences are too generous, some places barely use sticks and wire to create a barrier.

Does this executive order cancel out the last executive order which Biden used to cancel the Trump executive order which allowed it in the first place? This is the definition of retarded.
