    Perhaps the answer is apparent when one sees the number of evangelical Republicans who've been caught with their boyfriends or child porn. They have to support the party line that "gays" are bad, and might even believe this, but the most outspoken of this group are men, and they probably wonder why they dream of sex with men. Outside of the church, and before Freud, (for thousands of years), bisexuality and other forms of sexuality were not so heavily criticized, even for those who were against it.

For example, 'College Educated Whites' would not turn that many states Red. It is impossible. And the majority of them are not nearly that stupid.

      In the UK it's mostly leftist men driving this. There's a whole bro movement around Corbyn which is just old school bully boys throwing their weight around with a woke sheen. A couple of years ago a Labour politician was talking and one of these progressive men just picked her up and removed her from the platform.       Women Democrats at the moment are much more brave than their male counterparts at the moment, which makes the men look weak. There is however, Adam Schiff, who is doing his job. Republican congressmen are quite outspoken, and sometimes promise their constituents the opposite of what they vote for in congress; eg. Rubio, Paul, McConnell, etc. Republican congresswomen - lately - seem unhinged when they support QAnon theories.

        The USA does not have equal demographics. Demanding an even split of every skin color in the USA is idiotic and un-representative. The most "reasonable" diversity position is to have the council match actual USA demographics, meaning 62% white, 16.9% Hispanic, 12.6% black, and 5.2% Asian.

        That council is not white or Asian enough.

        If we're doing real diversity, then it should probably better match the demographics of the city:

        According to the most recent ACS, the racial composition of San Francisco was: - White: 46.41% - Asian: 34.40% - Other race: 7.68% - Two or more races: 5.57% - Black or African American: 5.21% - Native American: 0.37%- - Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander:0.36%

        Additionally: - gay or lesbian: 15.6% - 49% female

        If they want real diversity, they're going to need to fire half of the women in the council. They probably only need two homosexuals.

        So really, they need: - 7 whites - 5 Asians - 1 black - 1 Hispanic - 1 other

        Of course only half should be women.

        The two homosexuals are probably White or Asian there, so if probably just select one homo in each of those two brackets. But they could make one of them from another bracket for fun. Of course if they want more homosexuals they could always pack the board.............

        Seems odd to do investigative journalism via tweet - as if one were a gnat in heat and had difficulty writing longer discourses. I've read through a number of her Tweets about farmers in India, and - because of the word limit perhaps - it's not easy to appreciate most of her points, which mainly suggest criticism, rather than get to the point. Hopefully this person will move to a better platform and start to make more explicit arguments. Thanks for the info. Increasing attendion for the farmers' protests is important, and does not necessarily require all of the critical assessment this person promotes. India's government removed farmers' abiilities to arrange their own prices for their own crops, and thus to operate in the marked. Taking away their rights in September was criminal, and shows how the government arranged a corporate takeover of farmers' work. They should get more attention for this.

        It's really telling, I think, that we only ever hear stories like this from British right-leaning magazines or beyond sus publications like Breitbart. No gay or "LGBTQ+" publication today would touch this topic, either because they're terrified of being labelled as the voice of "privileged white cis gays" or because their editorial teams are now populated by radical trans and "queer" activists.
