There was a guy on Bill Maher that explained that diversity and equity don't build bridges. Math does.

Math and tough, dirty, physical labor.

I think I'd rather be known as a bigot white supremacist in return for entrusting my life in a metal tube at 380 atmospheres to experienced staff.

Lol, I hope this bastard dies for his allegiance to the commie cult. Let this be a lesson to the next one, hire based on social credit and die by it due to incompetence.

It's weird, because he was a 50 old white guy himself. So, how does that work?

Uncle Toms come in all flavors. More so when exposed to excessive propaganda.

What's wrong with uncle Tom?

Nothing as long as they are kept to the margins. Centering self-destruction as a virtue leads to Canada's "healthcare" system

When did Uncle Tom say anything about self destruction?

Haven't read the book, so my idea of uncle Tom is more like uncle Rukkus from boondocks. Collective self-hate leads to a group based around human sacrifice, either through banishment, scapegoating or ritual murder (psychologically similar fates). Eating one's own is a phenomenon called a purity spiral. The inner party always sacrifices the outer party. This is the way of Satano-Communism and highschool girl cliques (basically the same thing).

It's called pulling up the ladder.

I don't normally wish death on people (and so shouldn't you).

But we can all aggre this is just the consequence of his actions.

Get woke get dead.

The left is overjoyed by this catastrophe. Seems like pandering to them is a mistake.

He had it coming. Not because of that, but because he was dismissive of safety concerns.

Perhaps, but it's worse, he fired a director who demanded proper testing to certify that sub.

This whole affair reminds me of the movie The Vanishing where a guy looking for his missing wife confronts the kidnapper who tells him that if he wanted to know what happened to her he would have to experience her fate. These people wanted to experience the tragedy of the Titanic and that's exactly what they got.

Expecting diversity pilots soon, who have been trained in India to save costs.

Finally, the CEO who poo poos safety as if it's an all or nothing issue is risking his life with his customers. I wonder what other corners he cut to save money.

Say what you will, at least the guy had the balls to actually go himself.

The more I hear about the details of this submersible the more it seems like there were multiple terrible ideas implemented. I'm not sure this CEO is that smart, but he did have the balls to go himself so I'll give him credit there.
