Thorough article: https://www.newsweek.com/salvation-armys-donors-withdraw-support-response-racial-wokeness-initiative-1645658

Xu questioned why the traditionally a-political Salvation Army would begin to promote such political and racial ideologies to begin with, which led him to organize a petition, co-written by Salvation Army captains and sponsored through Color Us United. It asks those to "stand against the insertion of politically charged racial ideologies into The Salvation Army's good work." .... .... .... .... "Repentance solely for the fact that you're white, we don't think that's very productive," Xu told Newsweek, who also noted that 60 percent of those served by The Salvation Army are from ethnic minority communities. That's a statistic he told Newsweek he discovered by talking to Commissioner and TSA National Commander Kenneth G. Hodder.

60% given to "minorities". You can very easily factor the number incoming from whites is extremely higher than 60% let alone 40%.

External Communications Manager Joseph Cohen responded to questions regarding the initiative and corresponding petition. Cohen said The Salvation Army has in no way changed its views or adopted any new ideology, like CRT.

Yes, it's the usual beyond parody stuff. lol. Communist tactic: re-brand, deny and lie, subvert.

Additionally, Cohen noted that The Salvation Army has gifted more than $200 million in direct financial assistance to help people stay in their homes in 2021. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the non-profit has provided more than $225 million meals, $81 million in utility assistance and $111 million in rent and mortgage assistance.

This retard boasts about giving other people's money away while playing the anti-white "but it's not CRT" fork-tongue game.

A Newsweek story published earlier this month noted that Americans gave more charitable donations to the United Way Worldwide and the Salvation Army in 2020 than to any other nonprofit focusing on direct aid, as reported by the Associated Press. Specifically, the SA raised $1.8 billion in 2020, an increase of 31 percent from the previous year.

Two globalist-hijacked subversive organizations.

Charity is important (done thoughtfully), especially in today's perverted world with bad globalist dynamics, but not anti-white globalist subverted "charities". Not one cent should go to subversion. This is serious stuff. Anti-white globalist ideology is not a joke. As it stands already, an anti-white man can steamroll a crowd of white people or play knockout-death games against asians and whites randomly on the street and globalist propaganda media will run cover for it. This subversion is destroying the core of western civilization. Poor people constituents can go figure it out and start begging for the subversion to be eradicated from those "charities". Or better yet other charities which aren't subverted can help and gain power. Unfortunately everything that gets big is a target for subversion, but that's life and it doesn't mean you stop trying (or monitoring).

William Booth, the founder of The Salvation Army, would be disgusted at what his organisation has become.

To make up for my western supremacist ways I will start campaigning for Russian style laws against the Salvation Army.

We can't assume we know best.

I tried to read this article as I belive it is important to do so if I'm going to make any type of comment on it....but man.... by the 4th paragraph... I just can't handle the stupidity, non sense and manipulation of the ideology in this article.

The arguments only work because no one can object or interrupt. In a person to person conversation you could obliterate any of these ideas presented. Only the indoctrinated, ignorant or stupid would tolerate or belive this.

I personally find it offensive to be accused of racism based solely on the color of my skin. The fact that this oxymoron is lost on the charity says all that is needed to be said.

Wow, some balls on this organization. Not only do they demand money from you in exchange for absolutely nothing, but you have to apologize to them for being born too if you're white. It's a living satire. It parodies itself.

Had thought less than a decade ago The Salvation Army was doing shit like not giving help to those who didn't identify as Christian, or who were gay/trans.

I bet a quick look at the management history would reveal quite of lot of shaking up these last few years.

I believe they still aren't allowed to marry outside the sect though.

Shame. SA was the one charity I always support, but it sounds like they don't like people like me any more.

True. I just posted this https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/story/the-salvation-armys-response-to-false-claims-on-the-topic-of-racism/

I think the wokeness story was fake news after going to the Salvation Army Website.

Though we remain committed to serving everyone in need—regardless of their beliefs, their backgrounds, or their lifestyle—recently some individuals and groups have attempted to mislabel our organization to serve their own agenda(s). They have made outrageous claims that we believe our donors should apologize for their own racism, that The Salvation Army believes America is an inherently racist society, and that our organization has abandoned its beliefs for one ideology or another. In fact, an online petition is asking supporters to “stand against the insertion of politically charged racial ideologies into The Salvation Army’s good work.”

Those claims are false, and they distort the very goal of our work.

"Happy holidays!" Bye. ;-)

For the grand culture wars, this social engineering is not as stupid as if first seems. This nudge of the feeble-minded well-meaning virtue-signalling charitable folks will make some people commit to this bullshit, push others toward eventual commitment, and of course polarize and divide many more.

[–]wendyokoopa1 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Wow so they've gone from alienating lgbs to now alienating most of their users and supporters. Time to only donate to small local food kitchens and churches.

It seems this Army's leadership is as retarded as the American Armys leadership.

The Salvation Army wants its white donors to give it more than just money this Christmas season. Its leadership is also demanding they apologize for being racist.

It’s part of a push by the Christian charitable organization to embrace the ideas of Black Lives Matter, an activist group working to, among other things, “dismantle white privilege” and “disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure.”

The Salvation Army’s Alexandria-based leadership has created an “International Social Justice Commission” which has developed and released a “resource” to educate its white donors, volunteers and employees called Let’s Talk about Racism. It asserts Christianity is institutionally racist, calling for white Christians to repent and offer “a sincere apology” to blacks for being “antagonistic.. to black people or the culture, values and interests of the black community.”

“disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure.”

In favor of the "Absent-father, turnip-stupid overweight selfish-tyrant mother and a 'culture' seething with contempt for education and basic human character" family structure?

What the fuck. Racist shit. I will never understand that level of racism. It's like asking the jews to apologize for their wealth, it's no different. Just that one is acceptable in US society, the other is frowned upon. Completely nuts.

It's not fake. Read: https://www.newsweek.com/salvation-armys-donors-withdraw-support-response-racial-wokeness-initiative-1645658

Xu noted that after he spoke to Hodder about his concerns and current petition, the extensive "Let's Talk About Racism" guide (along with its diversity, equity and inclusion trainings) was moved from the first page of The Salvation Army's International Social Justice Commission site to a less visible page. In a November 4 Facebook post by Koukl, he noted it was now listed as a guide on the site's "Resources" page.

Read the whole article. It's the typical insidious globalist-communist tactic of subversion and damage controlling. Gaslighting anti-white globalist-communist predators infesting schools do this.

Edit

Their globalist-communist materials:

Do a find on the term "white" in the PDF. Communist garbage. Humorously, they also claim "race isn't real in a genetic sense" and pit "POCs" against "whiteness". Poisonous and anti-factual.

Just to make sure I didnt miss anything, I read the *Salvation Army "Let's Talk About Racism" PDF *

https://s3.amazonaws.com/cache.salvationarmy.org/e0c074e3-39db-4b09-a6ea-aa5bdb6ecaa6_Let%2527s%2520Talk%2520About...%2520Racism%2520COMPLETE%2520SET.pdf
Its an interesting take on systemic racism. And by 'interesting' I mean 'white hating". It mentions the Catholic Church allowing the annexation of the new world, white and black slaves being replaced by blacks from west Africa, and the formation of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1816 after two blackies got pulled out of a church for sitting in the white section.
To be honest, after reading this I think Im even more racist now!

Here is the relevant passage about white supremacy (pg 21)

The Jews and Gentiles knew and understood the laws and cultural traditions that were in place to keep them apart. There was literally a wall in the temple keeping Gentiles from accessing the same worship space as Jews. Jesus didn’t physically tear down that wall but offered us all a different way of access to God. Our wall is White supremacy and superiority, and we must address how it has stopped us from worshipping together.
