One new field related to anti seedoils is learning about foods that induce torpor. It turns out that much like bears you can induce weight loss or weight gain by signaling your body into a winter or spring/summer metabolic rate by simply manipulated food, micronutrients and other factors. I just find all that stuff fascinating.

Interesting do you mind giving some examples for each? (and if you know the paper feel free to link that)

To be honest it's totally over my head but I still enjoy it! One thing Brad goes into is the chemical pathways that cause the body to store or release fat and energy. He's fascinated with steric acid.

He references lots of papers in his videos so if you need the research it's easy to find. He does have some detractors but he recently had a public debate with one of them so it's not like he's trying to hide from criticism.

Will be checking these out when I have time. I've seen a lot of good things in the literature about stearic acid and I think those studies are why the mainstream perception of animal fats and fats in general has slowly started changing.
