They've been vaccinating people for the first corona for years now, even after new variants, and they keep vaccinating people for the old variant. It never made sense. Unless what you're talking about is exactly what they want to do.

From their perspective the original corona wasn't going to go away until 'heard immunity' was achieved. That's why they kept pushing for the original vaccine. We still haven't hit 'herd immunity' level in most countries according to the corona virus health 'authorities'. Killing off every unvaccinated person with a new super deadly variant seems too dangerous. Why would so many of their own politicians and health care providers be secretly ducking the vax if they knew they were going to need it later?
