Arabs have been after our bounty and success for over a thousand years at this point (and you could easily argue that it's more like 2 or 3 thousand, perhaps even longer) and we've knocked back their advance time and again. Even with the large losses to these leeches in modern times, many Europeans from what I've seen, especially in Eastern and Southern Europe, are sick of it and are actively attempting to stop their advance.
