They are already pushing it with what zog eill accept and angering zog. No democracy can go against zog since countries that do end up like Russia or Iran. You can't get 50% of the population to vote for being massively sanctioned. Most people care about petty economic issues and being anti zog is the best way to ensure financial collapse. Saddam hussein was anti zog and iraq had mass starvation in the 90s. If Iraqis could have voted they would have voted for cheap food from Nestlé even if they hate Israel.

Italy has huge debts and an economy heavily integrated into the global financial system. Regardless of who is prime Minister in Italy they will be loyal servants to the empire.

Trying to save the west through elections is meaningless.

There was an interview with Madeleine Albright where she acknowledged the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children from the sanctions, and said that this was an acceptable price to pay to punish Saddam.
