I'm amazed that you guys dont understand what a massive strategic blunder this is, one that the GOP has repeatedly made. This is so advantageous to Democrats that they almost certainly leaked this draft in order to reap the benefits.

I'm not even for abortion in cases where there is no medical issue, but the reality is that the vast majority of women want to reserve the "right", nevermind in situations where the health of the mother is at stake, or cases of rape, or severe deformities or problems with the fetus, so you are unnecessarily alienating half of the electorate aside from a few boomer evangelical women, because we all know this potential ruling would simply be overturned eventually. You are basically saying that the moment a woman conceives her body is now property of the state, good luck selling that.

This is purely a 10th Amendment issue. Nowhere in the Constitution will you find the the word "abortion." The 10th Amendment clearly states than anything not spelled out by the Constitution falls to the individual States to decide for themselves.

Democrats may get cake and ice cream here. Abortions rights will stay intact or be quickly reinstated through legal maneauvering, while republicans make themselves look like jackasses.

That's exactly what will happen, and it is probably by design. These anti abortion catholic justices were all appointed by dimwitted Jew controlled presidents, Bush and Trump. They will fuck whites on everything that matters and will give them this phoney "win" on abortion that actually winds up kneecapping the populist right, and the wealthy (((donors))) that vetted these justices knew this.
