The Dumb people committing a lot of crimes is not a compliment. It means their impact on society can't be ignored, just based on how frequent and easy it is for anyone to do it.

You make my point for me yet you don't understand what you write? OK... Good for you dude.

Let me baby-talk you through it: In the apparently established correlation between low IQ and GETTING CAUGHT committing a crime, how do you adjust these statistics in order to get to the truth of whether or not low IQ people ACTUALLY COMMIT more crimes? Maybe high IQ people commit even MORE crime than the low IQ ones, but they're smart enough to not get caught.

Is your goal a society with low crime, or a society of psychopaths that get away with murder?

You read into your statistics more than they can tell you.

By checking the Bell Curve. The smartest people in society only represent 2.1 ~ 0.1% of the population. We do know these people get caught from time to time, so they're not perfect.

https://www.ibtimes.com/52-richest-people-currently-jail-3032690

But look at any prison population, and do we have any evidence of smart people disproportionately taking up more space vs dumb criminals?

Charles Murray's original book also goes into better detail about the status of IQ and the likelihood of committing a crime or being incarcerated so I should obtain a copy for myself...

In a worst case scenario, I took Japan's list of missing people as evidence.

87,962 people are reported missing, HOWEVER, 26% were blamed on dementia and another 16.9% was family trouble.

https://www.aa.com.tr/en/asia-pacific/japan-sees-record-number-of-missing-persons-in-2018/1512032

If there was a psychopath epidemic, how would these numbers actually compare a country with Low IQ?

Well, lets use Brazil. Data I found said 82,094 people went missing, which to be fair, that's in a country with double Japan's population.

https://www.icrc.org/en/document/brazil-82094-people-were-reported-missing-2018-families-search-answers

Now proving if all these missing people were all murdered requires looking up the backgrounds of family members, checking to see if they're connected to organize crime, which cities reported them the most etc. But given that Japan was able to prove that at least 26% of their suspects was due to old age, I think it's safe to say there isn't an epidemic of people mysteriously being killed, at least, not in greater numbers compared to that of a less advanced country.

Now I'll admit, I actually do find this topic interesting, and I will probably do more research on my own to get an even more accurate breakdown on the impacts of IQ on a society.

I also picked the worst case scenario, which is not a fair way to judge Japanese society. The real homicide rates in Brazil's most dangerous cities far outstrips Japan.

https://nbakki.hatenablog.com/entry/Murder_Rate_Number_of_Actual_Victims_by_Prefecture_in_Japan_2018

Edit: And oh yes, 65,000 people are reported MURDERED in Brazil each year. So it's no longer a comparison if Japan is more dangerous.

What about this comparison? Haiti and Jamaica are both black-infested landmasses, with comparable average IQ (67 and 71), yet even though Haiti's population is nearly three times that of Jamaica, the Jamaicans commit far more crime. What could be possible explanations for that?

Access to guns.

https://www.jstor.org/stable/pdf/resrep10745.8.pdf

Firearms, particularly handguns, are the weapons of choice for major crimes in Jamaica and the proportion of crimes committed with them is rising. In 1990, 50 per cent of all reported murders and 57 per cent of all robberies involved firearm use; in 2000, these proportions had increased to 61 per cent and 68 per cent, respectively (Harriott, 2002, p. 5). In 2009, though the proportion of robberies involving guns did not change significantly (66 per cent), gun murders represented 77 per cent of murders (JCFSD, 2010).

Combine this with their role in the illegal drug trade and it fits perfectly,

https://www.jamaicaobserver.com/latestnews/Jamaica_major_source_of_illegal_drugs_to_US

Jamaican farmers cultivate an estimated 15,000 hectares of cannabis every year and the Report notes that the police, supported by the United States, employ an eradication team to cut growing plants, seize seedlings and cured marijuana, and burn them in the field. Small fishing vessels and speed boats carry marijuana to Haiti, the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas and Washington said “a thriving “guns for ganja (marijuana)” trade continues between Jamaica and Haiti, as evidenced by seizures in 2018 of illegal firearms traced to Haiti and marijuana shipments prepared for embarkation from coastal Jamaica”.

And since we're on the same subject, Japan has one of the toughest anti-drug laws in the world...

So it's not shocking that a race, with a very High IQ, invents a culture, that heavily frowns upon the use and trafficking of illicit drugs.

I guess that makes sense. The total could be similar, but since the population is smaller in Jamaica, the percentages are vast.

So it's not shocking that a race, with a very High IQ, invents a culture, that heavily frowns upon the use and trafficking of illicit drugs.

It seems like you're implying that races with high IQ can make societies like Japan, or at the very least, all asians. Which would suggest that they would all have harsh drug laws.

Japan's IQ is 105. The only other Asian countries that come close are China (104), South Korea (106), Taiwan (106) & Singapore (108).

And yes, I find all these nations to be comparable to one another. Proof? All these nations were literally destroyed at the end of WW2, yet within 70 years, they all built themselves up rather quickly and they continue to outperform the Western hemisphere.

Which would suggest that they would all have harsh drug laws.

See above. But yes, these societies crack down on illegal substances hard. Especially as they come with a death sentence.

Interesting that, all of those countries were ravaged by Japan (besides Japan, obviously).
