They are generally regarded as being different, with the former being more broad and all-encompassing. Third Positionism mainly describes syncretic systems that reject the rock-and-hard-place dichotomy of communism and capitalism. This definition, while specific, is still quite loose generally speaking and includes a very wide range of political positions/groups, but is very often associated with Fascism, National Socialism, Falangism, etc. and related systems as they are the most prominent within Third Positionism.
