That's a good point; one that somehow eluded me.

As we know, the Polish and Hungarian political systems are incompatible with contemporary globohomo. They are simply incapable of keeping up with the pace of 'progress' (i.e. decline reinterpreted as progress). Hence Orban's much-maligned talk of 'illiberal democracy': a communitarian, populist democracy rather than the atomistic, cosmopolitan nonsense of the EU.

But, at the same time, criticism of any nation that refuses to partake in this process of systematized pseudo-progressive degeneration might decide to realign itself with the less degenerative societies like Belarus and Russia, which would be a stunning blow for globohomo, much the same way that the inevitable loss of Ukraine already is. Knowing that they will temporarily lose the Ukraine, it makes sense that they wish now to prevent fencesitting and non-alignment by bringing things to a head with Poland and Hungary in order to compensate.

However, Poland in particular has shown itself to be composed merely of bundles of sticks over their continued insistence on having their cake and eating it too: to receive the benefits of remaining associated with the economies wealthier than its own whilst seeking to insulate itself from the degenerating societies accompanying those economies.

The willingness to engage with the West economically but not socially is creating glaring contradictions. The EU obviously know this, which is why they're also in a full-out plot to overthrow Orban, helping to cobble together a motley anti-Orban alliance of almost everyone who is not Fidesz (whether Judeo-cuck parties like Jobbik or the post-communist Leftists of the MSZP). Naturally, they hope that they can trigger enough panic in these countries so that the voters will blame the incumbent governments and thus re-empower their parties like Civic Platform (Poland's staunchly pro-EU cuckservative Right, from which came Donald Tusk).

Naturally, in its attempt to remain ingratiated with the Western economies, Poland has foolishly chosen again to side with its economic interests over its social interests. By predictably throwing Belarus/Russia under the bus, this allows the EU to attempt purging the last holdouts. They, of course, want to get rid of Hungary's Fidesz and Poland's Law and Justice parties because these are the last two who resist refugee quotas, 'anti-discrimination' minoritarian bullshit and other degenerative dictates from Brussels. Not only are these parties more dangerous because they are in government, they're also far less cucked than the other parties they hate like AfD, RN, Vox, etc. (who in comparison to PiS and Fidesz are far more Leftist and liberal as well as nowhere near entering government). I think their conditions are abundantly clear: PiS and Fidesz must exit the halls of power; or else.
