Its not surprising Zelensky stayed. He basically had to or face losing all credibility. I can pretty much guarantee he will survive this and probably wont even be captured, and he knows this well. Mark my words. It's all hollywood theatre, with the Jew media trying to make him out to be a hero, despite the fact he's the one most responsible for this invasion and is openly encouraging Ukrainians to die in suicidal attacks. He's a total scumbag. He knows full well when it's time to evacuate and that the Russians would go out of their way to avoid killing him because of the bad PR it would bring.
