Notably, and I may get a lot of flak for this, I do not disagree with their initial assessment of age consent laws in this country (16-18), that laws are generally 14-16 in Europe. That is because post pubescent minors are not children, they are minors, who for better or more likely worse are sexually active as more or less a societal norm.

So far, just going that far, seems like a lot of schizoid yank prudery, even as we have crafted a hyper decadent, pornographic society in most other facets. Have not yet finished but they DO, or more particularly Kershares does use that as a vehicle to question laws criminalizing sexual contact with PREBUESCENT children.At the most charitable, he says he feels conflicted about it, which is the wrong answer.

Most interestingly, at 46 in they admit that pederasty seems to be not so well kept secret in the gay community. I'd have less of a problem if I bought the argument that people are born straight and that a 14-15 year old lad knows hes gay when some older man makes a move, but I do not buy that and indeed what we know about the ancient world proves that accepting that as a societal norm will lead to large swathes of the population being bisexual or homosexual.

Aside from blatant statements against interest that shows what they are up to, both speakers are incredibly inartful in what they are trying to communicate, eg not enunciating the important distinction between status as a post-pubescent minor and bona fide children.
