One thing I'll say works against my theory is that a higher ratio of blacks died from covid, therefore, perhaps blacks are more likely to know someone who died from Covid and got the shot. The black covid death rate is 1.4 times that of the white rate. But if that's what drives a lot of blacks to get the shot, it sure took an unreasonably long time to have an effect. If you go back to a year ago, blacks were I think around 20% less likely to get the shot. Now that gap has apparently closed greatly. But why now? Once again, it makes me wonder if leftists in high places wanted to make blacks look better than they really are.
