I'm not on the right but I do fast. It's not a miracle life changer but caloric restriction prolongs life in mammals. Diets work too.

You have to be careful fasting too long, because of refeeding syndrome and just general safety if you're out and about driving a car, etc without any nutrient intake, it can make you dizzy and foggy.

Fasts hurt for a day or two and then your stomach gets used to it. Starving to death is likely not all that painful. I'd personally recommend fasting longer than the adaptation period, just to go through it less.

    Oh wow, 3-7 days? I thought everyone capped out at 2 days of pain like me.

    I can't understand how someone could subject themselves to the hardest part of a fast over and over again.

    Exactly... they must be masochists. Rolling 48s and ADF is new to me, I was thinking about IF, I always thought that was unnecessary suffering.
