The root challenge or us is the atomization of our culture. Men and women have less in common now more than ever, even platonic friendships among men to men and women to women are down significantly. We've got to be likeable to the people in our lives.

This doesn't get discussed enough, but it could be a major factor.

One heartening thing I'm seeing with vaccine-skeptic communities is that it seems there's a lot of women into it. So there's the possibility of meeting in the middle there.
