Here is an example of useful information versus fear porn.

Useful information: "The governor of New York has announced vaccines will be mandatory to enter restaurants on Sep 1st. Here are ways you can protest this, and how you can avoid getting vaccinated as a restaurant worker or customer."

Fear porn: "Associate of the Biden admin suggests going door-to-door to vaccinate people. This is tyranny. We are no longer a free country. #1984"

Note how the first post is specific about the details and is about something that has been definitively announced to happen. Most importantly, it provides multiple solutions rather than simply fearmongering.

The second post is about a policy that has been "suggested" by a supposed associate of the "Biden admin". There is no guarantee this will actually happen, and no date on when it would happen if it does. It also gives zero practical solutions to such a policy if it were to be implemented. Posts like these are effectively crying wolf.

If you were truly concerned about a door-to-door vaccination policy, a better post would be "Do you expect a door-to-door vaccination drive to occur within the next 12 months? If one happens, is there anything we can do to avoid it?" This doesn't just raise the issue, but it also opens discussion for potential solutions.
