How bout letting people be free? Why penalize it?

-Fatso gets on the Bus

-He now takes up 4 seats that could go towards kids and healthy people instead despite not paying extra.

Also, being fat is just hideous to look at. If I wanted to watch Shrek, I'd rent a DVD.

And you're assuming fat people are fat through some fault of your own.

See, even in these circles where people think they know about disinformation, they really don't.

People are fat because they consume more calories than they burn off. It's as simple as that. It's so funny because you call it disinformation that obesity is the result of bad personal choices which it obviously is but repeat propaganda that comes straight out of the 'fat positivity' movement. Boo hoo healthy at any size and also its not my fault as I sit here shovelling cake into my gob it's glandular...

As Ricky Gervais once joked its not glandular its greed.

Such a small mind. You should go back to s/[n-word]areshit.

Tell me Ô great scientist of metabolism, what is the effect of mercury, cadmium, aluminum, lead and / or arsenic on the mitochondria and how does that affect your "simple equation of calories in / calories out"?

Yeah you are speaking out of your ass. You know nothing about metabolism and biology. What if the mitochondria make nearly zero energy because their inner workings are disrupted? And then what if your liver is, through dysfunction, hellbent on making bodyfat with everything you eat? Yeah, you're in way over your head, kiddo.

You seem so informed, why the mindless drivel? OK replace "All" by a high number. 90%? 80%? Pick whichever one you like mkay.

One factor among hundreds. There's many way to counter the effects of slowed metabolism as well it's not the only thing we're dealing with here. Obviously exercise and diet are the two factors people could control the most but in your other comment you recommended testing for heavy metals in people and using methods to reduce it which I'd fully support if I were POTUS. You're still not going to magically get thin if you get rid of heavy metals though. You need exercise and diet.

Anyone under 18 years old, I'm willing to grant exceptions.

But those over 18 years old don't get sympathy. Just like smoking cigarettes, no one is actually forcing you to buy a double big mac combo. Or hopping inside your car to pick up mail instead of walking to the mailbox.

By the way, I WANT TO help fatsos. I'm not saying these things out of spite. It's because I do care and want to see them shed the pounds instead of being a fat sack of crap that holds society back.

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

You really have zero idea about the science of metabolism. I'd STFU and start by learning it completely FOR STARTERS.

Then maybe we can have a conversation.

You clearly have zero understanding of the processes of human biology.

You are using first-grader logic on extremely complex processes to justify your hubris and preconceived ideas. Bravo.

You think somebody goes from a shape you would KILL FOR, from extreme workouts, fantastic nutrition, all the proper regimen, for 19 years straight, to being obese and so sick I'll die if I take a WALK out of laziness? How insanely retarded are you?

According to your cesspool logic I went from the most disciplined, mindful and hard working individual for 19 years, achieving awesome results and a one in a million physique, to a shithead sloth who accepts being sick and fat with no problem.

You are truly retarded beyond belief. Your IQ must be single-digit. There is simply no other explanation.

Let me explain one more time for your pea-brain: I am sick. And because I am sick, I am fat. I have a sickness that robs me of any and all energy and makes me fat. A bunch of other conditions cropped up such as multiple cancers, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, to name only these. After years and years of tests and examinations, doctors are still baffled. One thing came up, I am very thoroughly poisoned with aluminum, lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic. BUT ACCORDING TO YOU THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

          What a fucking genius.

The libertarian reveals his final form

          [–]peaceful 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

That's a pretty big assumption that I would agree with all of libertarianism just because I say you shouldn't control eating.

Sorry, I think my original comment was unclear. I do think some things should be illegal, just not that.

Obesity is one of the major factors in people seeking health care in Western countries and its costs the tax payer 100's of billions of dollars. Only an insane person thinks a person's 'freedom' overrides that general concern or some libertarian ideologue. You must be one of those.

          [–]peaceful 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Freedom does override it. Reduce military spending and end multiracialism and there would be more than enough money.

          [–]literalotherkinNorm MacDonald Nationalism 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh good just reduce military spending and end multiracialism. That should be easy. This is so typical of libertarians. You all do this. The second someone proposes a sensible and small scale solution to a problem which comes in conflict with these 'freedoms' you believe on that don't exist you immediately pivot away and propose absolutely mind bendingly large solutions that aren't even possible in the short term to even think about let alone the medium term. In other words all you ever want to do is suck your thumb and wait for your imaginary fairy kingdom to materialise and shout down any practical and possible solution.

Said it before and I'll say it again: libertarians are way bigger pieces of shit than anti-fa.
