On a side note: My boomer dad is a retired commercial airline pilot and I asked him what are the demographics of pilots in his career. He said 90% or more white males. However, being the eternal boomer he said with enthusiasm that the airlines are aiming for 50% of their new hires for pilots being women and/or non whites. He said that it's a change that's good and needs to happen. I wasn't in the mood to argue with him, so I just said "well guess that's one profession I won't try to get a job in." He replied, trying to recover his last statement "well son it just means you wouldn't have priority getting an interview, but once you're interviewed I think people are hired purely based off merit." We left it at that, I doubt that'd even true, I bet an airline with two similar qualified people are always going to hire the non white male. WTF is wrong with boomers, they enjoyed a white cohesive society and think it's good they are giving their children Brazil

That was actually a really good counter point you made. You're basically saying, "don't you see dad that white males will have to be hired less and given larger barriers in order to get in the industry? You might think it's cool dad but your own son is affected negatively."

It's so frustrating. Not only are they giving us Brazil but they are still doing well enough financially that they can surround themselves with white people in their neighborhoods, places of business, etc until they die. They won't have to deal with the chaos they've caused.

yes they LITERALLY live in an all white gated community. The town they live in still has on the books that you can only sell your house to a white family (obv not enforced anymore.) Yet they both spout off how great diversity is and that it will be good when all the races mix so racism isnt a thing anymore
