I personally very much confused on how they see Magnus Hirshfeld, he advocated

  • Economic, political, and sexual equality of men and women
  • Secularization and reform of laws on marriage and divorce
  • Birth control to make birth voluntary and responsible
  • Eugenic birth selection
  • Protection of unmarried mothers and "illegitimate children"
  • Rational understanding of intersex people and homosexuals.
  • Comprehensive sex education
  • Reforms to eliminate the dangers of prostitution
  • Treating sexual abnormalities medically, rather than "as crimes, vices or sins"
  • Legalization of sexual acts between consenting adults, while criminalizing sexual - acts without consent, or acts upon minors and the mentally disabled. Distinguishing crime from vice.

I also am confused of whether he holds the gender-critical idea of trans being of "autogynphillic disorder" being a mental disease or their totally normal, the scientific American piece screams of historical rewrite, he holds the exact same positions current year trans-rights activist have?

Also Has any one read "Racism" by Hirshfeld? Sam Francis alleges that that is where the term racism comes from. I would be interested in how similar it is to Boas or is more nuanced, judging by the table of contents it appears to very similar to Boas.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Everybody but Christian evangelicals believes in eugenic birth selection by way of preemptive abortion--eg with down syndrome babies being aborted. Unfortunately those laws passed show what a strong force evangelical Christianity is in this country.

A lot of them other stuff sounds like a good idea but opens a pandora 's box of unintended consequences (eg liberalizing divorce laws).

Where I draw the line is this transgender nonsense. It absolutely must not be tolerated. Alas it has become mainstream and we are going to have to suffer really horrific consequences until there is the political will to counteract it properly.

Finally, it shows the Weimar decadence and fifth was a big reason for the NSDAP mandate. Many already knew this but this case study could boot be more powerful or timely.
