Try AmRen and Taylor's book 'The Color Of Crime'. Colour of crime takes its data straight from law enforcement and things like the Crive Victimization Survey.

It is remarkable how they try to hide that though. The report the NYPD puts out which still includes racial categories makes fascinating reading. 85-90 percent of all violent crime is committed by Hispanics and Blacks.

This is very different nationally. The widely quoted FBI statistics shows whites commit 58.7% of all violent crime.

Except that includes Arabs and Hispanics under, "White race." Remove those two groups, and it would probably be somewhere between 25% - 30%.
