Save the Republic from what?

Yes, we have corrupt elites but they rule regardless of what party is in power, including when Trump is in "power". Libertine rightwing ideology is a self defeating ideology. The issue is not big government but weak corrupt government that is run by outside forces not for the national interest. You should fear big business more than big government because that is what controls are government. Only by wielding state power for national interests can you fight these corrupt forces that currently hold power.

I agree. The only way we can fix this shitshow is with power and force. We need a strong goverment that is willing and capable of using force to stop people and institutions that are hostile to our interests. For example, send federal police to facebook headquarters, seize everything, arrest the executives, sentence them to 20 years in federal prison for violation of the whatchamacallit act.
