Yeah to the first point I think it's generally true. With classical liberals and the Alt-Lite -- who often times are mere classical liberals -- I always say they're drunk on the rewards that come with complaining about the problems the West faces but allergic to the solutions and hostile to them because they'd necessarily be illiberal.

As for the examples of the Alt-Lite bashing actual pro-White and counter-Semitic politics they're legion so I'll leave you to do your own digging but for a direct example Gavin McInnes and Milo are good examples. Sometimes it's not even direct attacks they're smarter and practice the old Dynamic Silence routine which is much more effective but the results are the same.
