This isnt the least bit surprising. Kushner isnt regarded as particularly bright by anyone. His sole qualifications to being Trump's advisor is the fact he's his son in law and comes from a family of wealthy, corrupt and well connected Jews.

That Trump used him as an advisor throughout his 4 years speaks volumes about his incompetence, lack of judgement, nepotism and obsession with Jewish power. All things which helped result in his supporters being ramrodded by every major institution of power throughout his presidency while Trump did nothing except occasionally issue meaningless tweets.

Trump alienated his white supporters with his blatant pandering to blacks and hispanics. This did cause a small decline in the number of whites who voted for him. But on the other hand, it has Democrats worried that they lost minority support.
