Ultraorthodox Jews tend to stand apart from your typical Jewish bankers/[social] media owners/Hollywood execs in that they 1) don't have much institutional power and 2) they are opposed to Globohomo at least for their own communities. It's actually the half-Jewish liberal cosmopolitan who is most in favor of Globohomo because he's truly rootless in a way that the Ultraorthodox are not. For this reason I've often heard them say things that sound "based".

The caveat of course is that they will oppose antisemitism and donate to such causes because they are still very ethnocentric. Since most people opposing Globohomo are "antisemitic" to some degree according to their definitions, this has the inadvertent effect of contributing to the decline of their own communities.

yea at the end of the day anything remotely resembling what they subjectively consider "antisemitism" is at the top of the food chain in terms of priorities.
